1. OH MY GOD.

2. What an exciting match.

3. Once again, a CL winner couldn't defend the trophy.

4. Resting your entire squad before a big game can be a mistake.

5. Barcelona played beautiful football tonight. Every football fan should be impressed by their effort, it was an absolute joy to watch them ( Read more... )

Oh no! *facepalm* I always do this!!!
I'm waiting for the game to be shown here, I got bored watching hours of commercials, came over to the comp only to find the game's already played in real time (I guess they decided to delay it here to annoy us) and I found out who won!!!!
*cries*
MY fault!!! I should know better than to go on the comp before a big game!
Oh well, I still want to see it! HAH! The pundits on my station were ALL for United and went on and on about the fact that Messi had NEVER SCORED A GOAL against an EPL team before!!!

HAH!!! In your face, pundits!!!

Damn.

Holy shit! I've just finished watching the first half. (Delayed here about an hour.)
I have to say that Barca is playing incredibly well. Every player seems so aware of every other player. They know each other so well and the passing is jaw-dropping. IMO, they are playing the way the Spain NT plays, and this is clearly no match for anyone else!
United look lost. Their game plan has gone out the window. Except for covering Messi, which they are doing quite well. It looks like Lio has said, "Fuck it," and is trying all sorts of different things, like tricky runs and dangerous back-passing and stuff that is very entertaining to watch.
Damn, I hate to say it as a Madrista, but they are playing one damn fine game! Way to go, Barca!
And here I thought United were going to win again! I wouldn't have hated that because I have nothing against them, but I don't really care that much about them either. I guess if C-R7 comes to Madrid next season, then I'll have to like him!!! LOL.

I thought the same!!! For major parts of the match I just sat there, gaping. Their one-touch football was brilliant, really. And on the other side, ManU's passes went nowhere. Ah, that felt so great. XD

I'm so glad Leo didn't give up when things didn't work out too well for him at the beginning.

I'm still bitter about Utd winning the Premier League, and I definitely didn't want them to be the first team to defend the CL title, so I'm glad they didn't win this. It would have made them (and especially old Whiskey Nose) even more conceited and full of themselves than they already are.

I guess if C-R7 comes to Madrid next season, then I'll have to like him!!! LOL.
DONUT SAY THAT! I'm still hoping he won't come. I'd rather have Kaká at Real than CRon!

I'm so late with this reply, so sorry, Bill!

But had to laugh @ the 'old whiskey nose' remark!!! LMFAO!!!

Hahahaha @ CR-7 remark as well! Oh no, I'd rather have Ronnie Puppet than Kaka! I don't think Real Madrid is the kind of team that would suit a Jesus Freak who rubs his religion in other peoples' faces! I admire players who are religious quietly and keep it all to themselves, only doing charitable work and stuff behind the scenes with no fanfare! Like Falcao. He is religious without shoving it in peoples' faces.

I just can't imagine Kaka in a Real Madrid game, lifting up his shirt to show a "Jesus Made Me" sloganed T-shirt. *shudders*
Sorry if you like him, but I lost my respect for him awhile ago!

OH NO!!! Didn't I write in that e-mail that I had just watched the match and didn't want to give you any spoilers? *flails* But I suppose it wasn't such a bad thing to know the outcome of this match because then you could enjoy Barcelona's beautiful football without having to fear for 90 minutes that it would all go wrong and the worse team would win with some lucky goal or something. :D

The pundits on my station were ALL for United and went on and on about the fact that Messi had NEVER SCORED A GOAL against an EPL team before!!!
HAHAHAHAHA, pundits suck so much sometimes. XDDD
