OH REAL. Don't play with my nerves like that!!!
My thoughts exactly...

I do respect Salgado, but dayum, man, and Metzelder didn't impress me at all. Marcelo didn't get as much on my nerves as usual, though. IMO, Sergio is so much better as a right-back than when he plays central defence, he creates much more danger on the flank when he has some freedom.
Casillas needs a shrine. He really kept us in the game *wipes forehead* and oh, Robinho, so much love.

Gago!!! He played so much better than against Bremen. Jesus, those crisp clear passes *drools* and his overview of the pitch is always so amazing.

Good luck with the work assignments, hang in there *hugs*

Okay, I just wrote a long comment and LJ ate it. I'm not amused. ><

I was happy when I read that Metze joined Real, but looking back, I suppose that was only because finally a German plays for Real again. I do respect him as a person because he's very intelligent and he writes well, but football-wise, I really wonder why Real chose him. He played a good World Cup, that's true, but for his club, he's never really managed to shine because he was injured far too often. And his last season for Dortmund was utter crap. Real might still profit from him because they didn't have to pay a transfer fee for him, but still. I really hope Pepe will be fit to play soon. (And that he'll be able to prove why Real payed more than 30 million for him.)

Marcelo didn't get as much on my nerves as usual, though.
Hehe, I thought that too!

Sergio is so much better as a right-back than when he plays central defencePlus, he's much quicker than Salgado. I wonder what would have happened if they had simply switched positions. I don't know if Salgado has ever ( ... )

This match was so entertaining to watch! Iker made some AWESOME saves. I'm in awe. Robinho was guh awesome. Gago ♥ I loved it when he got fouled and turned at the referi like: ;___; He hitted me! And LOL at Van Nistelrooy I just knew he was going to miss the penalty.

I'm so glad Chelsea won! Thoung I feel a little sad for Neuer because in the first goal he made a big mistake. He had such a sad face...

Oh Stuttgart WHY?!?

I kind of wish I'd watched this match...instead I watched Chelsea-Schalke, and Schalke played like crap (there's no nice way to say that), so it made for a pretty boring match.

I saw the Real highlights, though, and it seems like it would have been much more exciting to watch (the goal celebrations were certainly fantastic :P). How did Wesley do? *has a one-track mind*

My condolences. The Chelsea-Schalke match couldn't have been too pretty. *shudders* It's so sad how much German teams suck in the Champions League this year.

the goal celebrations were certainly fantastic :P)
Especially Robinho's! ♥

How did Wesley do?
Frankly, I didn't see too much of Wesley. He played, but he wasn't as brilliant as during earlier matches. I suppose he's a bit exhausted at the moment and needs some rest.
