goodbye, scholli...
At Blickpunkt Sport last Monday, they showed a little clip on Mehmet Scholl's history at the FC Bayern, and it's so bloody adorable that I have to share it with you.
The clip includes:
- excerpts from the match against Mainz, his goal and his "goodbye tour" around the pitch
- interviews and pictures from his new "bowling career"
- interviews with Uli Hoeneß (it's almost scary how much that man seems to love Scholli)
- pictures from previous championships
- a little clip of Scholli dressed up and interviewing Olli Kahn about "having the same character as Mehmet Scholl" (that is HILARIOUS)
- and that famous sentence "We'll all cry tonight. We'll have some drinks, and then we'll all cry. And then, we'll swap wives and girlfriends. And then, we'll move on."
