With the exception of my minor finishing touches, all of our house projects are done.  Through the course of our four and a half years here, we have put our mark on every single room in the house.  EVERY SINGLE ONE.  Now all I have to do is some touch up painting in the living room and some caulking and painting in the kitchen.  Hopefully I'll ( Read more... )

The rumors of power restoration were wrong.  We didn't get power back until about noon today.  This was most unfortunate timing when you consider we set record lows last night.  The thermometer outside the house read 12 degrees this morning.  Contrast that to our indoor thermometer which read 41 degrees.

I did not have school today.
