Mom asked me to go shopping with her today, so I did. I got there like an hour before she did, which is very odd; usually I'm the one running late. But I hung out with Rusty and C and we made fun of my poor old dad. When mom finally got there (and made me unload the groceries ack) we went to get lunch, then went shopping. I think she needed the break from Rusty.

21 June @ 1345 I talked mom into coming to this nice little cafe. She had chicken salad that had wasabi in it and it was SO good. Next time I go I'm getting it. I also had a blackberry cream soda. I've been making them at home, only I don't have the blackberry syrup. They're REALLY good.
21 June @ 1501? This is the chair mom wants. I wasn't so sold on it, it's a little too... something. She likes the green colour in it. I tried to change her mind, but really, if she likes it, she should have it. Meanwhile, I am now desperate for the zebraskin patterend chair.
21 June @ 1545 So at the next store we went to, I was sort of taken with this. ... Where would you put her? I imagine ID'ers probably wouldn't go for this sort of thing, but there's a charm there, I think.
21 June @ 1700? This is Marley. He used to be mine, but when I moved out, I left him to my dad and now they are BFF, like, totally. Marley had something happen to his right eye and he can't see out of it now. For a while he was very careful and didn't jump much or climb, but he's totally back to normal. In fact, in this picture, he's on top of a clothing rack of my mom's.

21 June @ ?? I got my henna, yay, a smooth kilo of the finest Yemeni ^_^ Tomorrow, I colour my hair. For the first time in... oh... uh, months. >_> I would have mixed it up and done it tonight, but all I have is extra pulp orange juice. Eek. So I have to go buy some plain. I might mix up a little to do something fancy on my hand. Next weekend I meet up with my bride again to do some henna on her arm. I want to make sure my henna is good this time so I don't embarass myself again. >_<
I think today's lot are a /little/ more interesting than yesterday's. I'm talking to the imp on google. I didn't even know I had a microphone. VERY cool. Nice to talk without getting a broken neck in the process. And my ear isn't getting squished and overheated either!
We went to Sam's (and I got a black silk shirt and dried blueberries that are delish!) and looked a Nikon slr type digital. The only experience I had with Nikon's digital line wasn't promising. But I'm going to read up on it. It was a 10.2 mp, which is decidedly better than my 4 mp kodak, but still... I fear I'll never touch film again and that's sad. THough I did find some infrared b&w, I just don't know what to take pics of...
