Week in the Life Game: For one week, you are to post photographs taken during the day.
Rules:
1. You must take between 6 and 8 new photographs per day.
2. Your WITL must be consecutive. No skipping days.
3. You must post your photographs at the end of that day, sometime after the last picture is taken.
4. Each photograph must have the time taken beneath and a title, with no other explanation.
5. You must post these rules at your first entry, then link back to it for the other six days so that people will know wtf you're doing.
6. Your post must say "A Week in the Life of [your name/username], Volume [whatever day you're on]."
I forgot to post 'the rules'. There they are. I also didn't read the rules (possibly why my test scores were never as high as they should be) so my posts yesterday didn't have the time. I might edit them, but I don't think anyone /cares/. I also totally broke the 'with no other explanation' part yeah? Like broke and stomped on it. In this case, /I/ don't care. You can ignore my stories if ya want. ^_~
a week in the life of [txilar], v01 17 June 08 @1000 - This is my to do list. I actually wrote it Saturday (left handed, an abomination, I know) so it served as a reminder of what I had done. So I wouldn't forget that I'd done it. Note root beer cap and a gift of crackers from my adorable new co-worker. Well, she isn't really new, but she's back as temp.
17 June 08 @1515 - As you can see, I did not put back my tea tin after making tea. I actually took this late, but it's thematic, right? So. I don't know if you can really see them in the pic, but the pictures on that file are all lolcats. I got irritated once with people expecting manuals/guides without sending me the necessary images, so I created a guide with nothing but lolcat pictures. The response was a lukewarm 'Heh, the cats are cute. Is that file ready yet?'
17 June 08 @1125 - As you'll see in the next pic, but door is usually half closed. Usually I do this to signify 'Txilar has migraine, enter at your own risk', but lately, it's because this is what I see otherwise. Plus I have to listen to the ridiculous tripe they spout whilst eating lunch and breaking. Oh I ate my leftover fried rice at my desk. With tapioca pudding and cantaloupe.
17 June 08 @1130 - Yes, that totally is a Dancing Homer. He is ridiculous. He dances to Rapper's Delight and one other song...
17 June 08 @1500 - I sometimes have to take a little break if some idea or something hits, or, if I have to give the receptionist a break.
17 June 08 @1500 - I had to have another wee break and I spent it editing my map. See the round dot just above center? That's the capital, where the story takes place. NONE of the rest of the map matters in the least. But I had to draw it. Right? I had to. I have only named one lake (the tiny one right near the capital) and I swear I will name no more. Swear.
17 June 08 @1750 - Before I go, a shot of my faithful guardians. you can see their Mexican sister to the left. She was bearing her undies though, so I didn't turn her around. Plus, I was still in a rush to avoid the smartmouth.
17 June 08 @1800 - Speeding home. I meant to leave early, but didn't. Had I known what a /gorgeous/ day it was, I would have left early. It's upper 70s, breezy, low humidity. Ooh it's nice. ^_^
Bonus pics!
17 June 08 @1830 - Maddie is impatient and demands her salmon. Those tiny little paws of hers are most powerful.
17 June 08 @1830 - Pickles tried desperately to get to the window, but stopped in my lap for a pet, then jumped back to the sofa.
In good news, I ordered a cable. My camera is fully charged (I found the printer!) I'm going to try to use the card reader at work tomorrow and see if I can download the pics there. Hopefully the cable will be here Thursday (along with Wild Adapter, Cynical Orange and wtf, In The Walnut won't ship for up to 6 weeks?! WHY do you do this, amazon?? Damnit!
For the record, after Zomig, Ibuprofen, and Acetaminophen, my head still hurts. It's not bad enough to stay at home, but not really good enough to warrant going to work. Boo.
