I have to say, I like working with people who have a sense of fun, and can take a joke.  There is always something going on somewhere in the clinic.  And I have to say, there are three people in the clinic who are the worst offenders when it comes to starting trouble (the fun kind, no meanies allowed), and I am one of them ( Read more... )

We just had a stray cat brought in, that has been hanging out around a clients house for a couple of weeks.  He has a microchip and his family us coming to get him.  He has apparently been missing since July.  Amazing.   :D

And the search for part time employee's continues.  My favorite part timer is graduating and starting her internship, so she will only be working one day a week.  I have to admit, it's hard to find good part time workers.  The job isn't easy, the pay isn't the greatest, and since it's part time there are no health benefits.  But I'm keeping my ( Read more... )

I have so been neglecting lj this year. But I'm finally done with the 20 hours of over time a week, so hopefully will be more awake when I am home. Work is going spectacularly well. I can't believe how much I am enjoying it, even when it's busy and overwhelming. But I am glad for the decrease in overtime ( Read more... )

Well, my first day went extremely well.  Everyone at the clinic is very nice, and the woman I am replacing (she is leaving in two weeks for a higher paying job, on good terms) is great.  I have used the computer system before (ok, it was 8 years ago), so I am picking it up again quickly.  I think I will like this job.  Although I am still a bit ( Read more... )
