It's gonna be a lo-o-ong winter!
Wow, December 8 and I'm already over winter. :) What kind of short-term memory we Minnesotans have! What a way to run a railroad. Maybe having 50 hour weeks all through November has just ground me down. BUT...Gods, I'm tired!! ...And broke...and feeling neglected. Whiny, too.
If I didn't have my root connections to the Tree; it could get ugly. Fortunately, I DO have those conduits to my Giddens. That, and my songs keep me going. Learning songs, filking songs, writing songs, and of course, singing songs.
Looking forward to Paganicon I hope to get a Miskatonic Glee Club started. Just show up with and perform a song or filk based on Mythos imagery. How hard can that be? Should really get member cards printed. Currently, I have two filks ready - Sitter from Sarnath, and the Shoggoth Polka - and I'm working on another couple. Have to see where they go. There may be an actual original song brewing, too. It would be nice to have at least 5 before then.
