I know why boys don't like me...at least around here....I'm loud and obnoxious and not really attractive. How does that somehow change when I leave Berea??? Honestly, I try to just be me all the time and I basically am, but sometimes I get crazy and do weird crap and I think that's what turns them all off...whatever. You know what Kathy...who cares, everything in teenage life mostly runs around relationship, who with who and how and where...
But really is that what you want?You are one of the few persons with a personality and you are intellectual.That's is rare and better than being gorgeous.
And you arent ugly and you are still growing, so don't worry, you'll find your guy!

aw thanks...i dunno i was feeling really not happy with myself last night, but now I'm good. I don't NEED guys, to tell you the truth - it's more that I just want one...and I'll tell you about that in good time. I hope you don't think that I can't be happy withouth them, because I don't wanna be that type of girl - there are lots of other things in life that make me happy, boys are just fun when they're around - but they can also be really stupid. Anyway, I love you too and thanks for being my friend.

For once, Kathy, I think that you may be mistaken. I think that boys may seem like they don't like you, but they're really just intimidated by your extraordinary intelligence. But don't change for anyone. You have something that some people would die for. You are not unattractive, either. But regardless, beauty is only temporary, but intelligence is life-long.

KO-I think you're beautiful. And I really, really mean that when I say it. Inside and out, backward and forward, any way you want to look at it, you are gorgeous. Don't let anyone ever make you believe otherwise. And I agree with what someone else said. You are very intelligent and a very diligent student. You're probably pretty intimidating. Don't take it to heart. You WILL meet someone who isn't looking for anything more (or less) than beautiful you.
