"books llc"!? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

I mean, uh, yeah, they're a reliable press. Not so god about submitting stuff for awards, though.

Back-up group piece should always be "Funky Clown Town." The whole AUDIENCE could do it with you! ;)

you know we met that guy a while back when he came to the Berkeley slam. He's a cool guy. And we got to see Funky Clown Town live.

And the book thing. How did that happen? Have you flagged it? Do they have flagging option on Amazon?

I have no idea what this book is -- I don't think it's poetry, thought, but dont't to buy it to find out. This is from the Amazon listing:

Chapters: Poetry Slam, Def Poetry, Puroslam, Kealoha, Big Poppa E, Saul Williams, Cristin O'keefe Aptowicz, Kip Fulbeck, Ragan Fox, National Poetry Slam, Association of College Unions International, Taylor Mali, Bob Holman, Steve Connell, Hawaii Slam, Taalam Acey, Slam Nuba, Staceyann Chin, Austin Poetry Slam, Mighty Mike Mcgee, Nuyorican Poets Café, Poetry Slam, Inc., Da'shade Moonbeam, Jessica Care Moore, Anti-Slam, Peter Nevland, Youth Speaks Hawaii, Jack Mccarthy.

All these "chapters" also have corresponding Wikipedia pages, and the excerpt they quoted seemed to be directly pulled from Wikipedia too (from the "Anti-Slam" page).

So my guess is that this is a collection of wikipedia entries, crudely fashioned into a book... for reasons unclear to me!

If they really wanna make money they should just call it RAGAN FOX- SLAM POET SABOTEUR and just reprint Big Brother wikis and then his and some other bios. ;)

The Samwell video? Wow! I'm not which was more creepy.. the original or the Dorito's remake!
