Good morning. This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
Every Friday I respond to the messages received on this show.
First up is one from Sara-san.
"Ohno-san, good morning. This is out of the blue, but I have something I'd like you to say. 'Good luck with today! C'mere and lemme give you a hug!' is what I'd like you to say."
But I've just said it! (laughs) OK, Sara...

Next, from Rina-san, age 17.
"Satoshi-kun, good morning. There's something I'd like to try at least once. That would be to press all the buttons on a bus! To press the buttons that indicate the stop you want to get down at as if I were doing Cliff Climb. Satoshi-kun, is there anything you'd like to try at least once?"
You know, for this... Once you press a button on the bus, all of them light up. It can't actually be done, Rina-chan... (laughs)
But for me, the moment you press a button on a bus and they all light up is irresistable. It kinda feels like you're controlling the bus. Let's savour that first!
Next, from Miyu-san of Saitama.
"Ohno-san, good morning. When I was a 4th grader, I fell asleep on a bus back home from Hokkaido. I had an episode where in the ensuing silence, I sleeptalked loudly, declaring, 'No angels!' Even as a university student now, I still remember that and it's so embarrassing that I have to laugh. Ohno-san, have you ever had an episode like mine where you sleep-talked embarrassingly in a public place?"
Man, I'm no match for that! 'No angels', you said. No angels...!?
For me... I don't think I sleep-talk. I've heard friends do it, though. I heard some a while ago. My friend came over to my place. Then, um, they're a pretty busy individual, so well, they kinda fell asleep on my sofa.
Then just as I was about to wake them - just as I was about to wake them from their little nap... "Ah, that's enough." They were still sleeping. "It's time."
"It's time. Wake up!"
Normally, they'd be like, "Ahh..."
"Wake up!"
"Ah, I sent the picture."
(laughs) "...What?"
I was like, "It's time!"
"I sent the picture, so it's fine."
So I was like, "Uh... ah. Thanks...?" They completely didn't realise they were sleep-talking at all. When I asked, "What picture?" they were like, "Huh??"
"Not 'huh', you mentioned a picture!"
"I said that? Ah, that must've been about work..." So it must have followed them into their dreams, huh? I guess when that haunts you, that's when you start to sleep-talk, isn't it?
But Miyu-san, I wonder what was bothering you to the point where you were saying, 'No angels'? Maybe you weren't being haunted. Man, to say 'no angels' is pretty... I mean, angels are good, right? I'd understand 'no demons'...
It's pretty interesting, isn't it, this?

Right, next, from Hinako-chan from Asahiku, Yokohama.
"Oh-chan, morning! Please give my grandma Hisae who's an Oh-chan fan living in Fukushima a message. After the earthquake, it seems she's spending a lot of time alone but recently she's got a few more friends. She's mentioned that she's going flower viewing with a few friends this time. I'd like to ask if you could do the message that you do at concerts - "Hiii! Hiiii! It's a Hisae-fest!" After you say it, I'll record it and send it to her. Please prepare for me to record before you say it."
Right, I see. Today is 11 March. It's been 5 years after the disaster. 5 years? It's been 5 years.
So yeah, the situation is still... It's not something that can be changed overnight. We've also been continuously doing what we can for the area struck by the disaster - this year, too. We'd like to gradually keep doing what we can.
Right, so on that note. Hinako-san. Are you ready to record? Right. You're recording from now on, right? Well, okay... Here goes!

Next, from Yuuka-san.
"Oh-chan, good morning. The other day, my cram school teacher asked us to recite some set positive words just after we wake up and just before we sleep. For me, I picked the words from the Puzzle & Dragons CM - "Oh, chance!" [1] Satoshi-kun, what sort of positive words would you pick?"
"'Oh, chance', huh? Arioka-kun said that. Like 'Oh, chan(su)'. Well, that was an ad-lib.
I wonder what my positive words would be? Probably fishing jargon.
"It's a nabura! It's a nabura! Cast! Ohh, it bit!" [2] That'd be it.
A 'nabura' is when you discover a school of fish. That's a 'nabura'. When you spot that, you go, "It's a nabura! Cast!" It's a device used amongst my fishing friends. So you'd cast your lures. Then when you wind your line in, the fish would be caught. The fact that they bit is positive, right?
So it'd be this: "It's a nabura! It's a nabura! Cast! Ohh, it bit!"

[1] As you've probably guessed, it's a play on 'Oh, (here's my) chance!' and 'Oh-chan(su)'.
[2] 'Nabura' is apparently the state where a school of fish are chased by a predator fish and it causes ripples on the surface of the water. Generally used to refer to skipjack tuna and such, not so much squid/cuttlefish.
