Shuffleboard, etc

May 27, 2007 19:05

I started a post a few days ago that began "I feel like I am on the verge of a mental breakdown". I've somewhat recovered and no longer feel like I don't know which way is up. Its amazing what a few days can do!

A week or so ago I started a '101' list. I posted it on my myspace blog, but figured that it could live here as well and I could keep you all updated on my progress. I've already started crossing things off. It feels exciting to try something I would have never done before because I now have a reason.

101 things in 1001 days

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Memorial Day Weekend is in full swing and I've definitely been enjoying the weekend! Louis came out with all of us on Friday and it was great introducing him to all of my favorite people. Saw Pirates 3 yesterday. Unimpressed. Ellen and I are going to play shuffleboard tomorrow and I am very excited to act like an old person. Lets hope the sun holds out for us!
