A hundred horror films are crammed in my head.
Wow! I just looked, and the last time I updated was exactly 2 weeks ago! Sad! I'm finally having a relatively quiet day at work. So I will play a little catch up.
So, I like my new job quite a bit. The people are great. NO one crazy. No one Humming non-stop. One thing I am worried about (though its nothing to do with my job) is my Co-worker's health. She's got lung cancer, and I guess its metastisized (sp?) So, I am really really hoping and praying for the best. She is gone today at a scan. Send some good vibes this way if you can.
I don't think I ever really posted about the Writer's Conference either. It was a riot. My reading went Okay. I was nervous, and it was at 8.00AM, so I felt a little like I was speed reading. But it was good practice. My friends Gary and Jason were there, and two of the mentors from my program were there as well. We met one of the lecturers, Matthew and he hung out with us most of the weekend. It turns out he's orginally from Liverpool, but now teaches at The University of Hull, in the UK.
Well, my trainnee just got here, so much for catching up! Ugh! More tomorrow *hopes*
