A fortnight ago I was offered a permanent position in the company, but, the boss told me not to disclose that information to anybody else in the team. So today I was talking to the rest of the team, just general chat, but I found out that everybody else in the team are on contracts, either until the end of this calendar year or earlier. That must be the reason why I haven't been given the green light to spread the news, it would cause outrage, or I might be discriminated against as I'm a new kid with no experience, while others have had years of work experience. Oh, the reason why everybody else is on contract is that our current company used to outsource the administration, but late last year they decided to buy that company and make it in-house, but all the perms were offered contracts instead, which I have to say, sucks for them. So now if they find out that after four weeks I was offered a permanent position, there'll be lots of unhappy people around.
