A bumper pic-filled post!

Where to start!

Firstly, thank you to the lovely ladies who took me up on my swap offer in my last post. Swapping is definitely something I really love to do and I'd love to swap with all of you, but I've just received some very Large and Important (so large and important it has to be capitalised!) news this morning, which will mean I won't be free for swaps for a few weeks. It will also probably mean some big things for Two Cheese Please in general - a little bit scary but very exciting as well!

However, I think now is a good time to reveal a few presents that I've sent off, since all the recipients have received them by now!

Firstly, these little felt yummies were something I made up for some LJ friends who so generously put up with my indecision and helped me to name my craft venture.

I love that you can buy chinese food boxes in craft stores now! I think they're a fantastic way to package all kinds of gifts, from chocolates to plush fortune cookies!

I hand-embroidered the fortune on some ribbon (painstaking, yes, but fully customisable!) after spending a week or so searching for a suitable stamp to use and discovering that we're very short on stamp talent down here.

They say "Confucious say thank you very much!"

And this is a present I made for my fiance after learning that he was hugging the pillow I used to use when I was still over there with him. (I hope he won't kill me for revealing that but I really do find it so sweet!) It's a doll 'modelled' after me, with a few of my favourite things for her journey.

Action shot!

And here she is having a picnic with her chicken subway, sugar cookies and Pink Ted.

Please do tell me if you'd like pictures resized - I'm still rather new to this so if they're too big and you have to scroll, or spend five minutes loading, I'll try my best to make it workable for everyone!
