A Christmas list (Part 2)

It's a flurry of activity down here at Chez Cheese, especially in the gift department!

Earlier in the week I bought some purse frames from nicolemdesign.com and I've been itching to try them out!

The purse itself is very quick to whip up, but maybe it's just me but I'm having a heck of a time gluing them to the frame! It's not hard, but it's super fiddly and I must admit a few rude words were uttered.

Here is my first one, testing out the pattern I whipped up for the purse bit iself:

This lovely ginkgo fabric is by Maurice Kain. It's actually upholstery fabric - sssh don't tell anyone! I think it gives it a nice weight and helps it stay nice and puffy.

It's lined with silk for a nice bit of secret luxury every time you peep inside.

Happy with my pattern it was time to whip up some purses for my cousins.

My favourite is the last one - does it get any better than pink with soft brown wool? I don't think so.

I'll be popping in a lip balm tub from the Body Shop in each, and a couple of those irresistible Lindt chocolate balls - everything a girl needs!
