Coren Direbrew can take a long walk off a short plank

To quote the Mutant Zombie...Grrrr! Arggggg! I hate Coren Direbrew and the feeling is apparently mostly mutual. He has stubbornly refused to drop a kodo for us. Two rams though, so he's at least been that generous. But no kodo. There is no Kodo. Except well, obviously there IS cause I see people all over the damn place on them. It might be better if one had dropped and I lost the roll, cause at least then I know it drops, yaknow? We've done him every day at least 5 times, usually more cause we bring in alts/friends to get a few more attempts in. I am just not sure why Blizzard would think that this makes things more "fun." The trinkets are great, I have them all. Had most after a few days. Repetitive boss farming for possibly nothing is not fun. Running races and barking daily and defeating the attacks for a kodo would have been fun. At least Briara won one of the Rams. I have a conspiracy theory.

There is, you see, a hidden "luck" statistic associated with characters, and hubby and I apparently rolled "1"s on our mains, cause we do have the worst luck with drops. We were running HMgT almost daily after it opened, and I think hubby was the last s-priest to get the trinket. Considering I *was* running it daily, the only trinket I have from it is the tanking one. Which is fine and all, but since I DPS and heal also, I could have used the others too. If something is a drop rate, we are on the top end of the bell curve for # of creatures killed to get the thing. We never even saw a Squashling during the halloween event last year. (I hope they fix it this year so you don't have to reset the instance) Just bleah.

In other news, Briaja has now maxxed herbalism and is gathering anything that grows from Hellfire and Zanger, since those zones have old world and Outlands herbs. I think I'm getting about enough according to the (probably wildly wrong) Inscription guide I've been looking at. She's also heard rumors of a creature called a "Spirit Beast" that lives in the wilds of fabled Northrend, and she has resolved that it will be hers to keep Eistatze and Flynx company.

Haven't set up my second account yet - and hubby hasn't been chafing to play War, so perhaps I'll see about re-arranging the computer room this weekend so that I can have my desk back. His new 26" widescreen monitor is kinda crowding everything else on that desk out, including me! Anyways, once that is done and I have my dual box setup back, we'll see about that account...and that Zhevra! Need to think of a good combo. I'm kinda leaning toward shaman/warrior - never played a shaman at all, and never took a warrior above 24. But when I think of the teams that kick our butts in the arenas, they always seem to have a shaman and warrior :-) It would be nice to have them 60ish by wrath time so they can benefit from the increased XP all the way to 70! I'm not married to that combo idea, but I don't have any better suggestions. Hubby has a max rogue, s-priest, and holy pally. I have a max druid and hunter. (Yeah, I know, 100% stereotypical girl WoW player...but my druid is normally feral and my hunter is a Draenei!)

FWIW, WoW looks pretty damn nice running at 1900Xwhatever. My 17" flatscreen has a complex now. I told hubby that he realizes he's getting me one of those for Christmas....right?
