Ok, you can find it amusing that I am excited enough about a 1500 to make it a post title, but you have to understand, this is my undergeared hunter's "WTF, just give us a few points" team that at one point was trying hard to make it into the 1200's (We "peaked?" in the low 1300's) and have been slowly bringing it back up. The team rating hasn't crossed 1500 yet, but my hunter's personal rating clawed back up to that point, which made me happy. Maybe it helped that I respecced to the cookie cutter BM 41/20 for Big Red Me. I'll miss Scattershot in instances (making up for my Beastmasterly lack of a shorter trap timer) but it had proved to be not so useful in PvP situations. With Big Red Me, I wasn't an autokill for rogues!

rambling.
So Briaja's heroic streak continues. Heroic Steamvaults yielded the Wrathtide Longbow (fused Netherrays FTW!) I scoped it for +dam and it seems very roughly equivalent to my bow from Attumen. A little more AP and crit from the agi on it, a little less +hit, but I'm not generally raiding anyway...though Bri did get an invite to a rather interesting Kara. Briara's two's partner was looking for a Kara DPS Saturday night, so I offered my hunter. They'd killed Attumen already, but one of their DPS had DC'd and had been gone for 40 minutes. (You may see where this is going already....) So I headed in, we made short work of Moroes and were on our way to Maiden when our s-priest got DC'd (It was a very DCful night, for the record). There we were, continuing to pull trash and work our way down the hallway when someone says "Hey Guys, Invite me back!" It wasn't the s-priest...it was the hunter that I had replaced. The group as a whole decided it wasn't fair to kick me and that they'd given the other hunter plenty of time to get back, but the other hunter wouldn't leave the instance. And of course, while this was going on, the s-priest got back on and got booted to Shatt cause the instance was full.
So while I feel a little guilty and stained, they figured out a solution: one of the healers said they'd go outside and duel the hunter, and if the hunter won they could have her spot (cause yeah, it's always a good idea to do Kara with one healer!) The hunter left with the paladin, half the group poured out of the instance to summon the S-priest, and eventually zoned back in (The healy paladin did lose the duel and felt a bit bad). After discovering they couldn't get back into the instance now, the hunter started trying to claim they'd been "Just about to leave" and she started sending me whispers complaining about how she had no epics at all and needed it more. I told her that I was sorry about the situation, but I was saved to the instance now also, and let it drop at that. After that was cleared up, we went on to smack down Maiden, Opera (BBW, no gun *cry*, but since I have not one but TWO epic bows, I mighta felt guilty rolling on it against the hunter with Melmorta's - but dangit, I'm a Draenei, I *NEED* a gun) and Curator. The MT was hitting nasty lag at the point and it was 1:30 AM so we called it for the night. No upgrades, but 8 badges and I was part of drama, whoot! Priceless :-)
Briara got her Vindicator's boots - no idea when or IF I will hit 1700 for the Guardian ones. We ran the two's and are now low 1500's again, up from a low in the upper 1300's. But her resilience is coming along nicely - 403 now. I had to regem her BP (QQ, two +18 healing Living Rubies broken!) to regain the Meta effect - she had on the PvE Kara boots with two blue sockets, and of course the PvP boots have no sockets. Meta required at least 3 blues. Why is it that as her PvP gear gets "better" her +heal keeps dropping?? Hubby fussed but we put Boar's Speed on the new boots, and our shard supply is officially exhausted. He tells me that as the moneybags I must keep an eye out for bargain shard and void prices and resupply us.
Our Pally is ret again, so hopefully we'll find some time tonight to run threes and try to get that 1650 for the ring. *crosses fingers* I'm about 5K honor short, so I'm hopeful!
Oh yeah, we downloaded the PTR and tried out the pet thing (SO COOL) and I found that if you have 50 pets, you are rewarded...with a new pet! A skunk, actually! I only had 32 on Briara, so I didn't get to see him. But back in the real virtual world, I've been sending Briaja to all the cities to purchase all the different colors and kinds of the faction pets that I don't currently have due to lack of bag slots. Moths, hawks, and kitty cats all purchased and sent to a bank alt. I just have to find the pet vendor for the dwarves and gnomes now. The portals on the PTR were busted so I couldn't zone to a trainer and check out the talents, but maybe that will be fixed tonight.
Also discovered that the raw materials for inscription will come from herbing. Just like you do with JC/Mining - you take stacks of herbs and "prospect" them. So Briaja is now proudly sporting a new profession: Herbalism is 56/75! Now I will have to figure out how to keep them both leveled in Wrath since BriaRa has the main professions but will be totally reliant on BriaJa for the materials. Bleah!
