We managed to get our real Threes done early this week. I know that to get a decent rating even with a not so hot success rate, you play like a hundred games. Well, it was later in the evening and we'd just run an instance, so as it turned out, we did 10 games and were at 1563. We'd noticed something - apparently we are the only people in the 1500's bracket...cause when we'd win, we'd get 12 points. When we'd lose...we'd generally lose more like 17, cause the teams were usually high 1400ish ratings. So we said "Ok, we'll run one more, and either lose or hopefully get at least 12 points if we win!" So...
game on!
Hubby and Banderas (ret paladin by spec) took out the hunter, but I bit the dust a few seconds after that, leaving them with a warrior and a rogue. The warrior was beating the crap out of poor Tarla...but they got him to low health...then Tarla died, but had loaded the two up with dots. Banderas hit the warrior a couple more times and over he fell. The rogue...it could have gone either way, but Banderas chased him around and finally landed a stun on him, and that was all she wrote. We got 12 points exactly for a team rating of 1575, and are 7/4 for the week now. So now I have the not so unpleasant task of grinding the honor to actually *get* the bracers ;-) This is good - the bracers are one of the slots which is still filled by a PvE item currently. As of lunch (AV daily + 2 wins!) I'm sitting pretty at a little over 7K honor. I think the bracers cost 11.7 and WSG tokens, which I have 100 of anyway. So poor Briaja gets to be idle this week even though she's just a BG or two away from a new item herself.
Briaja did get a little fun though - ran heroic SP with a friend's guild group, and got most of the rep I needed for Revered (902 away!) and won the purple neck from Quag. I traded in 13 AP for 1% crit, which seemed a very good deal indeed! Also led the DPS meter for the run, yay! She's coming along nicely :-)
