in my lifetime i want to....
swim in a natural body of water that is so clear i can see the bottom
learn how to tango and salsa
become fluent in french
be able to hold a conversation in spanish
be able to recite a poem in italian
have something published
teach a college class
be the lead in a non-cdw play
live in another country with someone i love [again]
backpack
visit a rainforest
eat with my hands in morrocco
have children
make someone else's life better
take a spontaneous weekend trip that i can't quite afford
be financially self-sufficient and debt-free
read the Bible all the way through
& probably more to come.
i am ready for summertime and cotton skirts and tunderstorms i can dance in, corn on the cob with butter dripping down my finger, browned shoulders and dizzy nights full of laughing.
i am ready for a change.
