Chapter Five:

“Yoochunnie, why don’t you come in for a while?” the woman pulled the man out of the car, her smile genuine and warm.

The man shook his head. “Ah…sorry baby, I need to head off to work.” His fingers moved softly, caressing her hand. “I’ll stop by later, how about that?” He looked at her apologetically.

She pouted. “Aw, take one day off, for me?” She leaned in and pressed her lips against his. Her slender arms circled around his neck, pulling him even closer.

“Ah…I supposed I can do that…” Yoochun moaned. Her lips traveled down, the light touch of her warm breath sent shivers down his spine.

“Come on.” She grinned victoriously and held his hand, leading him to her house.

----------

Yunho groaned and lifted his heavy eyes, then immediately closed them when light greeted him. The intense glow of sunlight passed through the thin curtains and lit up the room, announcing the beginning of a new day. He rolled on his side facing away the window, rubbing his temples. His head throbbed in pain from all the alcohol he drank less than 24 hours before. Yunho forced himself to open his eyes, feeling how unaccustomed he was to the bed he was laying on.

‘Where am I?’

He scanned the unfamiliar room sleepily. Golden walls, a desk, mirror, sliding closet, the small bathroom; he was in a hotel. But he couldn’t remember how he got there, where was he last night?

His eyes fell upon a small note taped on the wall lamp, hovering over the bedside table.

Yo,

By the time you read this, it’s probably morning. You know, you were such a bastard last night. But I forgive you. You should be lucky I took the time to bring you here. But then again, you spilled out the details of your sad love life. The wonders of what alcohol does to you.

Ha, I happen to have heard of you by a certain someone, that was the only reason why I cared to even carry your heavy body all the way over here, instead of leaving you in the bar and rot for the rest of the night, I am such an angel. Am I right, Yunho? You don’t need to know how I managed to learn your name. Let’s just say…from my dear step brother. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone of your sins. Feel better, and thanks for coming to the bar, come visit us again one time^^. You owe me money for the glasses you broke. It comes out of my paycheck, I need to live too you know?!

~Changmin

P.S. In case you don’t remember, I was your bartender.

P.S. again: You threw up all over my shoes. You owe me new shoes.

It took him a frustrating five minutes to read with his unfocused vision and muddled up mind. ‘Oh right, I went there last night because of…’ Yunho stopped and shook his head; he didn’t want to think, at all. He lied on the bed for a while longer until his headache cleared up. Grabbing his jacket and hotel room key from the armchair, he stumbled into the bathroom to freshen up.

He was going back home. After all, he needed to confront his cheating wife one day.

----------

Yunho stepped out of his car nervously; rummaging through his pockets to find his house keys. He skipped work for the second day already, without informing the workers in his company, but that was the least of his worries. Yunho was concerned, how was he going to face her? He didn’t return last night. What was she going to say?

He wasn’t as angry as he was yesterday, after thinking long and hard during the car ride home. Sure, he spotted her kissing someone else, no doubt about that. But Yunho did way more than that, and he believed in karma. He knew he deserved it.

The door unlocked when he twisted the small brass key; he took a deep breath and peeked into the living room. No one was there. He walked in the house and listened to see if he heard anyone else walking around. Nothing.

Yunho let of a sigh of relief; he wasn’t ready to see her anyway. Dragging his feet across the smooth floor, he ended up in the kitchen. He poured himself a glass of water from the clear pitcher and lifted it to his dry lips. He closed his eyes and let the cool liquid smoothly ran down his throat.

Then he snapped his eyes open and stopped.

Yunho swore he heard something from upstairs, a shout. He stared at the staircase, listening intently. There it was again. This time, it sounded like a muffled moan.

‘What the fuck?’

Was that Seul Gi? It sounded so much like her, he knew it.  He didn’t know what she was doing upstairs; up he intended to find out what was happened.

He placed the empty cup on the counter and his feet proceeded to head upstairs. Her voice, of course grew louder. Then he heard another voice, a male’s.

‘…what?’

Yunho felt his heart pound against his chest, he didn’t want to think of the only possibility of why she was making those sounds, and he refused to believe that she would do that to him. His hand shook unsteadily, gripping loosely around the doorknob.

He had to do it. He needed her to know that he won’t keep her dirty secret. He twisted the knob and pushed open the door.

The moans stopped, the couple on his bed, HIS bed turned their faces to look at him, the passionate expressions turned into terrified gazes. Seul Gi, had her whole body wrapped around him, skin to skin. The two were close, so terribly close. His body tensed up when the man’s member had seemingly disappeared inside her.

He felt uncontrollable anger build up tremendously inside of him. He was disappointed, so disappointed. His feelings acted before his mind was able to control him. Before he knew, Yunho had already charged across the room, roughly grabbing the other man and pulling him off.

“Seul Gi! What’s happ-” the man was cut off abruptly, he was on the floor, his nose bleeding rather quickly. His fingers tenderly touched his injured face in shock. Yunho stood above him, hands clenched tightly.

“Yoochun!!” Are you okay?” Seul Gi crawled off the bed and headed towards the fallen man.

“So you seem to be more attached to this fucken bastard than me right?!” Yunho roared, kicking the fallen man on his sides.

“Yunho!! Don’t hurt…don’t hurt him!!” Seul Gi begged, frantically trying to pull the enraged man from Yoochun.

“You!” Yunho’s head swiveled and turned to the frightened woman. “How dare you, ON OUR BED!” he snarled.

His hand delivered a painful slap to her face, a loud gasp escaped from her swollen lips. Seul Gi collapsed to the ground, grasping her stinging cheek, tears streaming down her eyes. Yunho glared at the both with pure hatred in his eyes. He looked at his wife’s pitiful face; but no, he wasn’t going to sympathize.  Her eyes were too afraid to meet his, she was trying to hide.

“Do whatever you want, I don’t care about you anymore.” He spat.

Yunho left the house, still fuming in rage.

He needed to ride for a bit.

----------

Jaejoong stood in front of the stove, clutching a silver ladle. He hummed softly to himself while stirring the contents of the pot.

Then he heard a knock on the door, though it didn’t like a knock at all. It was more like a fist slamming against the door continuously. Jaejoong hadn’t taken note of that, he was too excited. Yunho had come back! He had no other customers for the day and barely anyone else visited him. It had to be him.

Hastily, Jaejoong twisted the knob to turn off the fire and stripped the apron off of his body. Skipping, towards the door, he put on a gentle smile; he didn’t want to show how enthusiastic he was to see him by grinning.

His head peeked out and sure enough, Yunho was standing in front of him. His smiled wiped away quickly when he saw the man. Yunho didn’t seem like himself, the way he looked was far from the calm, collected man he was so familiar with. He opened his mouth to question him, but stopped when he spoke first.

“Shut up.” He growled. Yunho pushed the door wide open and seized the smaller man’s wrist, dragging him to the bedroom.

“Yun? What happened?” Jaejoong tripped on his feet a number of times, struggling to keep up.

Yunho pulled the man into the room and slammed him onto the bed. Jaejoong let out a little cry of pain when the back of his head hit the wooden headboard. He tried to pick himself up, but the other had already on top of him, pinning him down with no escape. He was frightened by his unusually harsh actions.

“Yunho, can you please tell what’s going on?” he felt Yunho tug at his pants.

“You don’t need to know anything.” He hissed, ripping every piece of clothing off like an animal.

He didn’t have a chance to reply before Yunho had entered him, pounding in mercilessly. His hole stretched so suddenly without any lubrication, it started to bleed. Jaejoong had never felt like this. No, it wasn’t from the tremendous pain that shot up his back. No. He was very used to that. He felt, hurt; there wasn’t a single trace of love or care that came from him, there were no tender touches. For the first time in his life, he felt….violated.

Where did the Yunho he know disappear to?

“Y-Yunho…stop it, please. It hurts!” he cried, wriggling, trying to pull him self out.

But Yunho had only pinned his arms down against the mattress, preventing him from moving at all. His fingernails dug deeply into his wrists from the tight grip, piercing into the skin.

“How dare you,”

“EVER”

“CHEAT”

“ON”

“ME?”

He shoved himself all the way in with every word he spoke, slow and hard; there was no pleasure from any of it. Jaejoong continued to scream in pain, and confusion. He whimpered. “Please stop, I haven’t done-”

“BAE SEUL GI,”

“YOU”

“REGRET”

“EVER”

“DOING”

“THAT!”

Jaejoong gasped in realization. He understood. He was forced to endure this pain just because Seul Gi cheated on him?

“Yunho, please stop! I’m not Seul Gi, don’t do this to me!” tears started to leave his eyes.

Yunho looked at him as if he had just realized what he was doing; but he didn’t stop.

“You’re a prostitute. You can take it.” He snapped.

“I-I haven’t even scheduled an appointment with you, I haven’t agreed to this.” His breaths grew quick and uneven.

Yunho scoffed. “I like need to do any of that. You love me.”

His words struck directly at his heart. Yunho had heard him say it! But Jaejoong never expected to hear those words spoken as if they meant nothing. He was furious, but mostly hurt.

He looked at him, breathing heavily as more tears poured out. “And you dare use that against me for your own good? The words I said meant something to me, and you’ve said it so recklessly. My feelings aren’t something to be played with! I’m human too!” he shouted with trembling anger.

Yunho looked at him with indifference; his cold, hard eyes penetrated his soul.

“Forget it then. I don’t need to take crap from you either.” He gave one final thrust before shoving the man off of himself.

He grabbed his pants and boxers. Reaching in the pocket, he took out his wallet and flung the object onto the bed. “Here.” Yunho was gone within seconds, the door slamming rather loudly behind him.

Jaejoong stared at the ceiling, tears slowly leaking out. The event had happened so quickly, it felt so unreal. He wished it was just a figment of his imagination, he knew it wasn’t.

‘My heart means nothing to him.’

‘I mean nothing to him.’

‘I’m just an escape from his problems.’

‘How foolish I was to ever think I had a chance.’

He didn’t move, it hurt too much.

He glances at the door and bit his lips. He was sobbing now, his chest heaving.

‘He doesn’t love me.’

He closed his eyes.

‘I can’t listen to my heart anymore. I can’t continue to wait for him, when he’ll never come to me. I have quit, I have to leave. I MUST leave.’
