The ride to Kurt’s house was silent. He could tell Blaine wanted answers. But he just didn’t really feel like talking about it.

The house was still empty when they got there and they went straight to Kurt’s room.

The second Kurt sat on the bed Blaine closed the door behind him and leaned against it.

“So.”

“So.” Kurt repeated, eyes on the ground.

“You gonna tell me what that was all about?”

Kurt shrugged, “You were in high school with me for a while. It’s just more of the same. Really it’s nothing new. At least it wasn’t thrown at me or something.” He mumbled the last part to himself but Blaine heard it, pushing off the door and walking over, sitting next to him and grabbing one of Kurt’s hands in both of his.

“So it happens a lot then? T-the bullying?”

“I told you yesterday, after being called worthless for so long, you start to believe it. Too bad that’s not the only thing they call me.”

Blaine got the implications and it made him see red, “What else do they do to you?”

“Blaine.” Kurt sighed, finally looking over at him.

“Kurt, please.”

“What exactly are you gonna do once I tell you? Drop out of college and escort me to classes? Just…don’t worry about it. In a few months I’ll be out and they’ll be gone and I’ll never have to deal with them again. Please, just drop it.”

Blaine sighed and squeezed Kurt’s hand in his, “I just hate thinking of you being hurt. I always have.”

Kurt had to smile at that, remembering every time when Blaine would protect him when they were younger.

“I promise I’ll come to you if it becomes too much to handle, deal?”

Blaine stayed quiet for a moment but, realizing it was the only option on the table, eventually nodded.

“Good. Now,” He turned around, glancing at the clock on his bedside table, “My dad should be home from work soon, so you should get going home.”

Blaine nodded again, leaning forward to capture Kurt’s lips with his.

“Walk me out?” He asked, mimicking Kurt’s request from the night before.

Kurt smiled and nodded, both boys walking hand in hand til Blaine was settled in his car.

“Text me when you get home?”

Blaine nodded and Kurt leaned in to kiss him quickly.

He watched as Blaine drove away and then went back up to his room, discarding the now-ruined pants he was wearing with a sigh.

He wished Blaine didn’t have to see that. He didn’t want Blaine to know how bad it had gotten since he graduated.

But a small part of him was relieved, now that Blaine knew. Because now Kurt knows that there’s someone who genuinely cares if he’s hurt or not and wants to protect him. He knows that if anything were to really happen, he now had Blaine to turn to.

He had to admit, feeling wanted and protected? It was pretty great.

Teachers sucked.

They all waited until the last day before break to drop mountains of work of the students, giving them book reports and essays and piles of worksheets.

They all figured having two weeks off would give the kids plenty of time to do the work. They didn’t seem to realize that all the kids wanted to do in that time was nothing.

So instead of waiting last minute, Kurt decided to just get it all out of the way as quickly as possible- which sadly meant holing up in his room night after night to get it all done.

This also meant he couldn’t go over to Rachel’s house every night like he wanted, especially on Christmas Eve.

Blaine understood, content with late-night phone calls or text conversations, whispering to each other late into the night.

It was Thursday night the week later and Kurt was finally done with everything he had to do. He rewarded himself by deciding to sleep over the Anderson-Berry house. He also decided to not tell Blaine, just to surprise him.

He expected Blaine to be sitting in the living room watching television with his dads, but when Kurt drove up, Blaine’s car was missing.

Rachel hugged him when he walked in the door and he fought to keep the disappointment off of his face at the absence of her brother.

They went up to her room and caught up, both cursing their teachers and the horrendous amounts of work they had been given.

After eating pizza and watching Funny Girl together, Kurt gathered his things and went to the bathroom to take a shower. He couldn’t keep the frown off his face when he passed by Blaine’s open door to see the room empty.

He showered quickly, the room filling with the scent of his vanilla-amber body wash and shampoo.

He didn’t let his mind drift, focusing on the suds on his fingertips from his hair and the scene in the room.

Soon enough he was shutting off the water and drying off, skin still slightly damp and clothes sticking when he put them on. He towel dried his hair a bit, deciding to just deal with it in the morning and made his way back to Rachel’s room.

He made it halfway down the hall before he was being tugged in another direction. A door was slammed shut and he was being pushed up against it and suddenly Blaine was there, crowding into his space and infiltrating his senses, his lips crashing against Kurt’s.

Kurt dropped everything in his hands and brought his arms up, winding them tightly around Blaine’s neck.

“W-where were you.” Kurt mumbled between kisses, groaning when Blaine tugged his lower lip into his mouth, sucking and biting on it.

“If I had known you were here,” Blaine replied, mouth pulling away and working its way across Kurt’s jaw and down his neck, “I would have stayed. You didn’t tell me.”

“Was su-supposed to be a surprise.” Kurt stuttered out, Hands woven tightly into Blaine’s curls, keeping his head in place against his neck. “R-Rachel. She’ll hear us.”

Blaine shook his head before he licked and sucked at Kurt’s neck, tongue trailing up, catching water droplets falling from Kurt’s hair.

“You taste so good.” Blaine groaned out and suddenly Rachel was the farthest thing from Kurt’s mind. He couldn’t help the way his hips moved, dick getting harder by the second and needing something to move against.

Instead of pulling away like Kurt expected him to, Blaine moved his body in closer, hips lining up and rutting back against Kurt’s.

“Is this, god, Kurt please tell me this is okay.” Blaine moaned out quietly against his neck, breath hot on his skin.

Kurt could do nothing but nod, hands wrenching Blaine’s head back up to slam their lips back together. The kiss was rough, teeth clashing and lips bitten harshly, Blaine all but sucking Kurt’s tongue out of his mouth and into his own as his hips tried to keep a steady rhythm going.

“Shit, harder. Blaine, please.”

Blaine reached down and grabbed his leg, bringing it up and wrapping it around his own legs as much as he could and oh my god. Kurt’s head snapped back against the door with a gasp, the change in angle making all the difference.

His hands grappled with the material of Blaine’s shirt, gripping tightly when Blaine rocked against him harder.

“B-Blaine, fuck-” He panted out, eyes screwed shut as Blaine tugged the neckline of his shirt down, sucking on the skin harshly.

Kurt knew he should get Blaine to move away, if he didn’t he would have one hell of a hickey, but at that point he didn’t care.

He wanted it.

He wanted to be marked by Blaine.

He wanted to wake up in the morning and see the bruise and remember what had caused it.

“So close.” He moaned out, causing Blaine to double his efforts, sweat beginning to drip down his temple.

“I got you Kurt. You can let go.” Blaine whispered in his ear before nipping at the lobe, lips trailing wetly across his jaw and up to his lips, his tongue licking its way into Kurt’s mouth.

And he did. He came hard, moaning brokenly into the kiss, using Blaine’s mouth to muffle the sounds as his hips stuttered. Blaine kept up his movements, working Kurt through it til their lips broke apart and Kurt was breathless, sucking down oxygen as his heart hammered in his chest.

Blaine was still moving gently against him when Kurt realized that oh, Blaine was still very hard against his hip.

Kurt trailed his hand down Blaine’s arm and across his stomach before settling over the bulge in his pants.

Blaine’s hips stuttered forward and he groaned quietly, “K-Kurt, god you don’t, fuck, you-”

“Shh,” Kurt whispered, squeezing gently before moving his hand up and under the waistband of Blaine’s sweats, fingers wrapping around Blaine’s dick.

Blaine keened low in his throat, hands coming up t grip Kurt’s shoulders tightly as his lips attached themselves to Kurt’s throat.

Kurt knew at this point he was going to have to wear a scarf to sleep but he didn’t even care because Blaine’s lips were on his neck and his cock was in his hand so hey, it’s a pretty fair trade.

Kurt had never done this to someone else before, so the angle was awkward. But Blaine was rutting into his fist and was babbling nonsense into his skin, so he figured he was doing something right.

He ran his thumb over the slit and smeared the precome over the head of Blaine’s dick but it wasn’t enough. Without warning Blaine yanked his hand out of his pants and brought it up to his face, licking Kurt’s palm and in between his fingers, sucking some of them into his mouth.

Kurt moaned at the sight before him, dick twitching in his pants before Blaine released his finger with a wet pop and brought it back down.

The spit helped and Kurt moved faster now, wrist turning at every other pump and Blaine was close, so so close, broken syllables of his name and groans tumbling out of Blaine’s mouth.

His body stilled before his hips stuttered and then he was coming, hard and hot in his boxers and over Kurt’s hand. Kurt worked him through it, pumping slowly until it became too much and he pulled away.

Blaine’s head was resting in the crook of his neck, panting harshly and Kurt brought his hand up, looking at it for a moment before sucking one of his fingers into his mouth.

Blaine groaned against his neck and turned his head, biting at Kurt’s shoulder gently through the fabric before picking his head up and crashing his lips against Kurt’s again.

His tongue swirled into Kurt’s mouth, licking, tasting himself on Kurt’s tongue and Kurt all but whimpered at the thought of it.

They broke away finally; breaths mingling in between them as they finally looked up and into each other’s eyes.

“That was…”

“Yeah.” Blaine agreed, tilting his head up to kiss Kurt again, just a press of lips this time.

Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine’s neck and Blaine’s wound themselves around Kurt’s waist as they just stood there, heartbeats slowing to normal as they held each other.

“I should get going back to Rachel’s. She might think I drowned in the shower.”

Blaine huffed a laugh against Kurt’s neck and nodded but neither made a move to break apart.

“I kinda just wanna stay in this moment forever.” Kurt mumbled, words muffled against Blaine’s hair.

“I know what you mean.”

They stayed like that for a few moments before they both knew they had to break apart.

Blaine leaned down to pick up Kurt’s things and handed them back to him.

“I’ll see you in the morning.”

Kurt nodded, bringing a hand up to cradle Blaine’s cheek before kissing him gently.

“Good night Blaine.”

“Night Kurt.”

Rachel thankfully didn’t question why Kurt took so long and they both went to bed soon after, Kurt staying wide awake for most of the night, replying the night’s events in his head until it was 2am and he was still wide awake.

He glanced over at Rachel’s sleeping form before moving out of the bed and towards the door, walking across the hall in seconds.

Would it be weird if he asked to sleep in Blaine’s bed? We he be assuming too much? It’s the middle of the night, Blaine’s probably-

Kurt looked at the door to see cracks of dim light coming from inside the room.

Okay, so he was awake still too.

Kurt knocked on the door softly before opening the door.

“Kurt.” Blaine breathed out, sitting up in bed.

Kurt walked in and closed the door behind, “I uh…I-”

“You couldn’t sleep either?”

Kurt shook his head, a blush creeping over his face.

Blaine smiled, the lamp next to him casting a soft glow over his skin.

“Come on.”

Kurt looked over to see Blaine turning down the other side of the bed and tapping it.

Kurt made his way over and quickly settled in next to Blaine.

Blaine laid down and tugged Kurt with him, his head resting on Blaine’s chest as Blaine wrapped an arm around his shoulders.

“Is this okay?”

Kurt nodded, eyes already drooping.

“I’ll have to wake you up early, before Rachel.”

“S’ok.” Kurt mumbled, hooking a leg over Blaine’s and throwing his arm over Blaine’s chest, fingers tucking underneath him.

Blaine kissed the top of Kurt’s hair and squeezed him gently before reaching over to turn off the lamp, his arm coming back to rest on Kurt’s arm.

This time they both fell right asleep, wrapped in each other.

**

Blaine woke Kurt up a little before seven am the next morning, his lips trailing over Kurt’s face, kissing his forehead, his cheeks, each eyelid, his nose, before finally his lips.

It was pretty much the best wakeup call Kurt could have ever asked for.

After they both went to the bathroom to brush their teeth and wash their faces, they made their way to the kitchen, getting together juice and toast and eggs to make breakfast.

They worked together seamlessly, moving around one another as if they had been doing it their entire lives.

And well, technically they did, only this time, each time Blaine passed Kurt he kiss his cheek or the back of his neck and Kurt would hug him from behind while Blaine was cooking at the stove.

It was all pretty perfect.

Breakfast was just being served when Rachel walked in yawning, hair in a messy braid down her back and wearing pink pajamas with stars on them.

“Morning.” She called out, taking a seat at the table and serving herself. Both boys answered back, sitting next to each other but with just enough distance to look platonic.

“Kurt I didn’t hear you leave this morning, when did you wake up?”

Kurt choked on the piece of toast he was eating and swallowed it down roughly before turning to face her, “Oh um. I got up really early and didn’t want to wake you so I came down to make breakfast. Blaine woke up soon after.”

Blaine nodded in agreement and Rachel shrugged it off, digging into her breakfast.

“Finn’s coming over later; I figured the four of us could hang out.”

Kurt and Blaine nodded and the three of them finished their breakfast in a peaceful silence, Rachel offering to do the dishes since the boys cooked.

They all got dressed and ready for the day and soon Finn was knocking on the door.

Rachel wrapped herself around him immediately and Kurt rolled his eyes before coughing loudly, “I’d rather not watch you tongue my brother, Rach.”

Rachel pulled away sheepishly and Finn grinned at Blaine, coming over to do that weird bro-hug thing all guys did.

“Hey man, I haven’t seen you in years, how are ya?”

Oh, right.

Kurt forgot that when Finn was a freshman he was still popular and that meant being friends with most of the seniors, case in point Blaine.

Kurt and Rachel stood off to the side and watched as their brothers got reacquainted, walking off to the living room together talking about sports.

“Aaaaand we lost them.”

Rachel sighed and nodded before grabbing Kurt’s arm and tugging him along, trailing after Finn and Blaine.
