5.06- I Believe The Children Are Our Future
First off, I wanna update people that saw my ealier post, I'm going to the Paramore concert tomorrowwwwww *bounces and flails*
Ok anywayssss, onto my review!
First off, the kid that played Jesse? genius. I loved him. and after a quick IMDb'ing of him, I found out that he was the kid from the movie Changeling. which means he's played opposite Angelina Jolie.
I'll say it again, I loved him.
the episode was great. perfect mix of a case ep and furthering along the plot, humor and angstyness. a win in my book.
also, Dean being Agent Page is ftw! ;D
but the dude that owned the magic shop made me roll my eyes with the quote "Kids these days...all they care about are iPhones and kissing vampire movies." srsly Show, cool it with the twilight references, plz and ty.
and I liked all of the urban legends they put into it, b/c I actually believed a few of them myself when I was little xD
Anyways, onto characters:
+ Jesse: yeah I wanna say it again, I fucking loved that kid. He was so damn adorable and I wanted to smoosh him...even if he is the AntiChrist.
I loved how sarcastic he was with the boys, and even asking to inspect their badges.
buuuut he's such a BAMF! Once he found out he had powers, dayum...
I loved him verbally kicking the crap out of the demon that possessed his birth mother. "Sit down and shut up." *chairs comes flying out of nowhere*
and the end with him bitchface/glaring at the demon.
Jesse:"Get out of her." *demon gets exorcised*
Dean:"How did you do that?"
Jesse:"I just did."
Dean:"Kid...you're awesome."
+ Dean: you were just your awesome funny self in this. it made me grin like an idiot. I loved that he took the shocker toy and fried the pork and then just grabbed his knife and started eating it...in multiple scenes xD and the fact that he was all gung ho about buying a whoopie cushion...and that it went off when Cas sat down...priceless xDDD
"I was bored...and that nurse was hot!" *shakes head* I can just imagine the lulz that were had when they had to make Jensen's palm hairy. srsly.
also the massive lulz when he had to do that face in the hospital xP
Dean:"Whoever's doing this has the sense of humor of a nine year old."
Sam:"Or you."
oh brotherly banter, ilysfm♥
Dean:"You're a hero...like Superman. Minus the cape and gogo boots. We're gunna take you someplace safe."
Jesse:"Like the X-Men?"
Dean:"Exactly like the X-Men! The guy we're taking you to is even in a wheelchair."

oh, also...When they were at the birth mother's house...was it just me or was Jensen like..extra sexass in that scene? it may've been the lighting or w/e just holy baby jesus on a moped *fans self* (even my mother commented on how hot he looked)
+ Sam: oh ffs bb, can you PLEASE stop ripping my heart out? srsly, it's not funny anymore, Winchester.
I wanted to hug him and squeeze him and call him george (kudos if you get the joke).
you could see the friggen turmoil he was going through because he related to Jesse so damn much. He just wanted to help Jesse make the right decision.
Sam:(crying, mind you)"You've got choices."
Jesse:"Why are you telling me this? I'm just a kid!"
Sam:"I have to believe that someone can make the right choice...even if I couldn't."

+ Castiel: fuck you right now, Cas. srsly. fuck you.
you pissed me the hell OFF.
I almost cheered when Jesse turned your ass into an action figure.
GUH.

and yeah, his voice cracked and he looked like he was about to cry when he said he was sorry to Jesse, but still...
it's gunna take a few days for him to get back into my good graces or once zooeyryeupdates Sons *nudgenudge*
Cas:"A year ago, you would have done whatever it took to win this war!"
Sam:"He may be destined to go dark side, but he hasn't yet. We tell him everything, The angels, the demons, the apocalypse, everything. He might make the right choice."
Cas: "Why?...You didn't."
*Sammy's bitchface and jaw-clench*
dude...even Dean looked pissed, he had to get in the middle before an all out bitchfight occured >_>
Anywho...this was a great episode, and I absolutely loved the ending, with Sam and Dean laying it all out for Jesse, not sugarcoating it. even telling him that if he took his parents, they could end up dead like John.
Dean:"Once you're in this fight, you're in it til the end...win or lose."
and the very end with Jesse going to his parents' bedroom and just staring at them with tears in his eyes.
oh good lord I nearly lost it. he was so heartbroken as he walked to his room and laid on his bed.
(It's kinda funny...he reminded me of Dean for some reason...just a little kid with way too big of a burden on his shoulders =/ )
Also, i totes wasn't surprised that Jesse used his powers to send himself to Austrailia...or wherever it is he went. I hope he comes back in a future ep ;]
Dean:"Ya know, I get why parents lie to their kids. It's to keep them safe, to make sure that when they go to bed, they're thinking that the worst thing out there is pop rocks and coke...The more I think about it, the more I wish dad lied to us."
Sam:"Yeah, me too."
Oh show, you are your epic daddy issues will never cease to entertain me.
(and srsly, they keep referencing papa winchester every ep...does that mean surprise JDM in the near future? c'mon Kripke, episode 100 is looming!!!)
