I figured I'd update since I haven't done it in awhile. I had the house to myself this weekend. It was actually pretty nice, although I was barely home to enjoy it. On Friday, I really had the full Friday the 13th experience. I woke up around 6 in the morning having a massive asthma attack. And do I have an inhaler? Nope, it's all gone. So I finally fell back asleep around 7:30 just to wake up again around 8 coughing like crazy. When I have a bad asthma attack, I usually cough a lot. So then I go to the bus stop and the bus does not get there until a half hour later!! I was SO mad because 1) it was horribly cold/windy/rainy/snowy. And 2) it meant I was officially late for work. The bus got there around 10:22 and I had to be to work at 11...not happening! I got to work around 11:20, but everyone was pretty cool about it. I had absolutely no energy, though, after dealing with my asthma attack. So I did not even want to be there. But I made it though. And then when I was waiting for the bus after work, it ended up being 20 mins late!! It was supposed to be there at 6:04 and it showed up at 6:26. The bus driver said "The traffic was bad" Bullshit! Traffic was NOT that bad for him to be 20 mins late. Once again, I was out in that coldness for a half hour. Oh, the morning bus was my fault...I looked at the wrong time. But the evening bus was all his fault! I finally get home around 8 that night. I just watched somet TV and was falling asleep on the couch by 10. I just popped into bed right then.
On Saturday, I went on a color tour with my dad and grandma. We used to do those all the time when I was a kid, but we haven't in some time. I thought it would be nice to get back into that again. We decided to go south this time, so we went through Caledonia, Dorr, Alaska, Hastings, etc. It was pretty nice. The leaves had mostly changed and were still on the trees. We turned around and stopped to use the bathroom. Then we drove to where I went to camp when I was a kid. It did not look familiar to me. Of course, we couldn't drive through since it was closed for the season. I think had we been able to do that I would have recognized it. But it was still nice to see it. We also went to the airport and sat and watched planes land and take off. We then went to this park and hung out, but it was too cold to stay out for too long. And then we went and had some dinner at the mall. My dad took my grandma home (we stayed to see how the Tigers were doing) and then he took me to Wal Greens so he could get my grandma's pills refilled. While there, he bought me this over the counter inhaler that he uses. I didn't realize there was such a thing, so I'm very excited! It means I don't have to make a stupid doctor's appointment. He also bought me some allergy pills. I got home around 7:45 so I just watched some TV. Hocus Pocus was on! And I fell asleep early again.
Today, I did some shopping with Sara. I had some things I needed to get and we also bought some more items for our apartment. So we're slowly getting there. We have pretty much everything, but I'm sure there will be more that we need once we move in and see what all we have together. I'm definitely ready to move out. I need to be on my own again. Plus, it's SO much closer to work. I won't have to leave an hour early and risk being late to work again. Now I just have be productive for the rest of the day. Haha!
