....i'm satisfied with my life.
maybe i said this last semester, but forget that. forget what i said earlier that i was truly happy here (if i did in fact say that) with Marymount or New York or whatever. walking home from Jen's dorm on Friday night was electric. i'm finally settling in. each day of this semester has taught me something new about where i'm headed in life and reinforced my reasons for attending Marymount. now i am truly happy.
i'm filled with optimism. liz and nicole have been such a breath of fresh air for my social life. i'm seeing shows on a regular basis and actually am getting out into the city. i'm enjoying the city, escaping from the Marymount bubble, and learning to ride on top of that bubble when I need to. that's so ridiculous sounding, but it's true.
and boys? eh. who needs 'em? i think i've had enough excitement for a while anyway.
my goals for this summer/spring...
-volunteer at the tribeca film festival
-see at least one show a week (outside of marymount)
-find an apartment ...hopefully for this summer
