Not Happy
The Borders in Downtown Crossing is shutting down. That means Downtown Crossing now consists of the giant hole in the ground that was Filenes, the Barnes and Nobles store that emptied out but hadn't rented in years, and a pretty gigantic empty building left by Borders. Closest Borders is now cambridgeside - the cambridgeside that you currently have to take an MBTA shuttle to. The likelihood that my purchases will go through a Borders instead of Amazon just went way down. I guess I can always do work at more local hangouts like the BellaLuna/Milkyway, or more community oriented spaces like Diesel. Getting other people to meet me there though? Anyways, this is obviously a sign that I need to spend more time exploring JP.
