Summary: Sam Carter gets a message from someone regarding something found that may belong to the SGC
Timeline/Setting: For Buffy post season seven, fits with my story “Investigating Bar Rumors” at TTH.
“You have reached Major Carter. Please leave your message after the beep and I will get back to you when I can.”
Vicky sighed hearing the message instead of Sam or an actual person, it would really be helpful to talk to a person. “Sam, It's Vicky from Down the Alley Bar. Tonight started out great. I got a perfect on my science test, thanks to your help. Xander was going to let me pick the music on the radio tonight for a celebration. So the first song I picked started to play and a skanky-ho came in like she was all ruler boss of the world. Skanky-ho started hitting on every guy in the room, starting with Xander. When I saw that I hid behind the bar and watched in the mirrors set up around the place. When she went right to Xander I knew she wasn't a human. Our info says that your bad guys have glowing eyes and when the skank's eyes started to glow I figured she was yours. She was hitting on Xander like crazy and looked at him like Jack looks at beer and hockey when you guys have been on a road trip for a long time. I walloped her with a full keg and knocked her out. One of the guys and his missus, I think its a missus or they might both be actually what groiny parts they have doesn't matter, but he had cuffs, chains, and a gag in his car and let me use them. We stuffed the skanky-ho into an empty locker and this is the third time I've called you. I know the first two times it sounded like I just wanted to visit, but I didn't to be all obvious what I was calling about, but Robby wants to close up the bar soon. If Skanky is a friend of yours I'll let her out and apologize.”
Searching her office Major Sam Carter hit the answering machine button on her desk as she looked for any signs of the Goa'uld who had claimed to be a Tok'ra to gain entry into the mountain and then knocked out her escort and disappeared. After listening to Vicky's message a second time Carter called the General to say, “Sir, I think I know where we can find where Hathor escaped to.”
