Not familiar at all with the whole G.I. Joe fandom but otherwise this looks like an interesting setup.

Thanks. I haven't watched much G. I. Joe since the cartoons when I was little (which like many other shows had lessons at the end). This just seemed like a good movie to have in the background while I was busy. And since it spawned a plot bunny, I'm pleased with it.
