Crap!

I finished painting the walls in the kitchen yesterday, then went out to the Honest Lawyer with Steve and Chris to watch the hockey game, went to pick up Joy, joined up with Julie, Dave, Anna and Kevin. We went to Red square, it sucked ass so we left and finished our evening at Kaz's. It was fun catching up with everyone but that's not the point of my post. I got home and went straight to bed. This morning I got caught up on my email (I had 61 new messages) then went to my parents. Spent very little time in my newly painted kitchen. I've been back from my parents house for a few hours now and finally had the chance to really look at my new kitchen. And I hate it. The colour. It sucks. I really, really don't like it. Fuck!

So now I have to repaint it. Again. It's way too dark for the natural wood trim. It looks terrible. And I can't paint the trim. It's the original trim from when the goddamn house was built in 1945. It matches throughout the house. It even matches with the original hardwood freakin floors. Crap, Crap, Crap!

all that work for nothing.

In theory, it should have looked good. I used a light blue base with a dark blue top coat, brushed on to look like denim and the effect is perfect but it doesn't go with the trim or the floors. erk. with cream coloured accents it would be awsome but I'm not buying cream coloured tiles for a house I'm selling in a few months. Maybe I can tone it down by colourwashing the base coat overtop. At least I still have lots of that colour left over and I won't have to buy any new paint.

Crap!
