(no subject)
i'm surprised that joe's started feeling like home as fast as it did. i finally got completely moved in, and even with a futon AND a couch in the space, it doesn't seem so crowded. it's homey, and i have family right upstairs. i don't feel like i'm sneaking around or in the way or anything, which i'm (obviously) relieved about.
and now i'm home in NY. i'm already medicated, because i'm allergic to my house like whoa, but it's good so far. as usual, i wish the place were a bit cleaner, i wish my bed wasn't ALWAYS covered in dried cat puke (thanks, shadow), so i wouldn't ALWAYS have to make changing my linens top priority when i walked through the door. but, i guess that just makes it home. also, my mom's favorite child is sick. we took him to the vet, and they don't know what's wrong with him. his nose is all warm and dry, and even his mooing isn't as powerful and joyous as it usually is. however, i'm happy to report that he's eating, some (he's really skinny. it's weird), and all backyard activities are back to normal. he even raced me for a water bottle a few times this morning. hopefully he's on the rise. i donno what the hell my mom would do if she had none of her three kids at home. jeez.
tonight we're having a belated birthday celebration for babynate. YAY!!!
