Is This Haunted Room Actually Stretching?
Two more weeks until my summer holiday. Hang in there, twiss. You can do this.
I've been waiting around for packages from the internet, today was the first day in ages where I had plans to go somewhere - and today all my packages arrived all at the same time. The post office was closed by the time I got home, so I won't be able to pick up anything until Monday *sadface*
One package was small enough to fit into my mailbox, though.
Look at my amazing new coasters! (bonus points if you know where the images are from ^_~ )
These are limestone coasters (though I guess you could also use them for actual tiling purposes) by Breakeble Designs. I absolutely love them, and I am now eyeing the other designs in her shop. I think these would make wonderful gifts for someone! I am super ready to invite people over now, just to show off my awesome new coasters.
Are any of you watching Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal? I'd love to hear people's opinions on it so far. I am personally enjoying the hell out of it. I watched the original show (not all of it) years and years ago ... with Swedish dub, so I am actually not too attached to the source material as such. I am more familiar with the manga. I recently started reading the manga in Japanese, and Sailor Moon Crystal is so far extremely true to the manga, more so than the original show, which follows more of a "monster of the week" type style. I can't wait for the next episode. Who is your favourite Sailor Guardian? Mine used to be Sailor Mars, but so far during my read through of the manga, I think I like Sailor Jupiter the best :O (I feel I have the most in common with Usagi, though, but I guess most people watching the show feel that way ... at least I think so? haha).
I don't really know how I feel about the new character designs yet. Something about the eyes they've given them freak me the fuck out, but I can't really explain it or point out exactly what makes them feel wrong. I like absolutely everything else, though - so I'll stick with it. Creepy eyes or not.
I must say that I miss the silly sequences with abstract chibi characters from the original show. It added a whole layer of charm and whimsy which Crystal lacks so far. But it ties in well with staying truer to the plotline of the manga, I guess. but chubby usagi was so adorableeee
