(no subject)
Things are coming along nicely. I've found the keys for my suitcase (... Christian found them), I found my Suica, I seem to be able to rent a SIM for my current phone ... yup. Aaah travel jitters, I can't wait to travel! :D Just one major obstacle remains, and then I'm freeeeee. We have agreed to help my parents with some moving stuff on Saturday, but this is hopefully the last house stuff I need to be a part of (for a good while, possibly for forever? whoooop!). My dad has finally gotten his electrical wheelchair, and he seems happy about that. He can get outside by himself now, which is amazing. I'm looking forward to catching up with him on Saturday.
I played a lot of games over the weekend, we got an amazing deal on Mansions of Madness at a book shop downtown. It was marked half off, but ALSO priced wrong, so ... we got a very good deal on it 8D I was planning on doing a longer post about the game, but now I need to play it again to have everything fresh in my mind. I'd love to play it with more people, but it worked very well with only two as well! Definitely going to do a post about this the next time we play it.
We also played another game of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game and made some progress on the adventure path we're on. I really do enjoy this card game, it's fun and challenging and co-operative! The adventure path gimmick adds a level of fun, and ensures that every game is different.
Aaand lastly I played my first game of GURPS. I ran (or started) an adventure which I hope to continue and complete before Christian leaves next week. I really enjoyed the rules, it was really easy to follow and get into.
I have been keeping up with my Japanese studies too! Hahahha. I am very high energy these days, not sure what's come over me :D I did skip yesterday, though, but I've also read two chapters of Sailor Moon #2 in Japanese, and I count this as Japanese studies, so it's all good~!
Now to fully enjoy my week and start making all sorts of lists for my vacation! :D Lists of things to pack, lists of things to see/do, lists of things to buy (lists of things I already own so I don't end up with doubles ...). Lists, lists, lists!
