I feel very accomplished this morning, but I am sure work will crush that feeling in about an hour or so. I'm on "the late shift" at work today, which means I don't have to get in until 10am, it's pretty sweet (it also means I work until 6pm, but that's more or less routine for me anyway, so .. whatever).
Anyway. I just got off the phone with a lovely person over at
Ichii Corporation. We've booked the apartment we'll be staying in during our Tokyo adventures this summer - we'll be staying in Kanda yet again. I guess this is the third or fourth year in a row? Hahaha. We are wonderful dorks. I do love Kanda, though. Such a central and great area. I wonder if they've finished rebuilding the train station. Not having any escalators was a real pain in the butt when we had to get to the airport T____T;
Now to find the keys for my suitcase, my Suica, and various other important point cards :X
Other things I am looking forward to in my immediate future:
I bought tickets for a live streaming of Monty Python Live (mostly) - I love that the cinemas here do live streaming of big events like this. It's a fun way to get to "be there" when you live too far away to have a chance to be at the real thing. I am really looking forward to it. I've been keeping away from twitter and other Internet news sites to try and remain unspoiled about the show, but I have heard rumours that they do the Lumberjack Song. I am all sorts of excited. The tickets were almost sold out by the time I remembered about the live stream, so I ended up with first row tickets (which may or may not suck depending on the layout of the cinema). Hahahha. We'll see. I'll have a good time regardless :D I wonder if people will show up in costumes :O I wonder if the audience will be mainly old or young fans. ... so excited about this. Hahaha. The live stream is set for July 20th, which I guess is the very last show :O No spoilers (until after then) please ;D
