A good while ago I dropped my Nikon FM2 while at the store. The focusing screen inside the camera was knocked loose, which meant we had to open the camera to put it back in place. I've been worried that this has resulted in permanent damage to the camera, but I finally developed (or rather... Christian developed) the first roll of film I shot after the incident. Black and white so that we could develop it ourselves at home. Everything looks fine! Fantastic, good to get that confirmed before I bring it along to Tokyo.
The pictures turned out pretty okay despite just being a test roll XD Sorry about the dusty scans, though personally I think it makes the pictures more characteristic. Yes, I'm weird that way.
Camera: Nikon FM2
Lens: micro-NIKKOR 55mm 1 : 2.8
Film: ILFORD FP4 PLUS
Unfortunately I lost a lot of pictures on this roll. I was so excited about finishing it, that I forgot to properly rewind it before opening up my camera 8D *clutzy photographer* The last picture is from my family's cabin in Telemark. Christian and I slept in that building (the farm's granary) during our stay.
But yes, it look like the focus capabilities are still intact. I'm so relieved!
In other news, my team leader is back at work, and all is well. I geeked out, and left this on her desk before she made it in this morning :D She was very surprised and very thankful. Anything to make return to work a little easier, you know? XD
Lol my handwriting on this 8D It says "Welcome back", in case anyone wondered. Also a tiny chocolate bar of Norwegian chocolate, since I'm sure she missed it during her three weeks abroad. There's nothing quite like Norwegian chocolate ... except perhaps Lindt's absolutely dreamy, creamy white chocolate. .....
