Hey!

Anyone have any great tips on what to do with leftover kidney beans? I've gotten into the (semi regular) habit of making onigiri for lunch, and my filling of choice is kidney beans (I'm honestly stumped on what else to try, so suggestions in that department would be neat as well). The trouble is, though that it takes less than a box of kidney beans to stuff my onigiri batches, and I end up throwing the rest away. The beans just don't keep well :[ it makes me sad, because I hate throwing away food.

Any suggestions?

Yesterday my long awaited Team Zissou Intern shirt arrived in the mail. I ordered it sometime before Christmas, and was all giddy about it, because it's my first internet t-shirt purchase ever (... I'm not as lame as I sound). It's taken me nearly a year, but I'm slowly realising that, hot damn, with my full time job, I've got money to waste on stuff. Like silly (but awesome) t-shirts.

I was nervous it wouldn't fit me right, and/or that the print/shirt would be terrible quality, but this was good stuff!

They'd even marked the parcel as a gift, and set the value to $15, which made me terribly happy. I ordered three shirts (one for me, and two for friends), and with one shirt going for $18.99, it sure as hell did not come to a total of $15. I didn't ask them to do this, so it was a really nice surprise. Had they marked the package with the actual value, I would have (most likely) had to pay an extra import tax/VAT... so yay. Will probably buy from them again? ... if they have other shirts I want.

What are your faovurite t-shirt places? I browse Threadless from time to time, but all my favourite shirts are always either sold out, or not printing (I also worry about sizes) :[

t-shirts, random, food, the internet!
