We managed to sleep through our alarm and had a sort of slow start. Made our way to Disnyeland straight away, bought umbrellas on the way because it was raining.
We got to Disneyland at around 10am~ lalala.
Decided to switch out the umbrellas for rain ponchos, I got a Minnie-inspired one, unfortunately the L-size was tons larger than I imagined, but oh well xD;;; I tried returning it to exchange it for an M-size one, but they couldn't take it back because I had tried it on lulz. Oh well~~ oversized Minnie ~ go! xD;
It has ears and Minnie's bow on the hood, and the bottom half has white polka dots, like Minnie's skirt! Awwww xD;
This is our third time at Tokyo Disneyland, so instead of worrying about getting on as many rides as possible, we focused on getting on our favourite ones, preferably several times xD; Haha.
Disney-dork alert. You have been warned. XD;
We started out with a visit to The Haunted Mansion, and oh my god @_@; This is the best version of Haunted Mansion yet! The Haunted Mansion was all done up in a Halloween theme (using characters from A Nightmare Before Christmas) the last time we visited the park, and though fun, it didn't really suit The Haunted Mansion at all :/ It took away its charm, and the Nightmare Before Christmas characters got too distracting. The Haunted Mansion in Paris (Phantom Manor) is placed in Frontierland (for... unknown reasons) and therefore included odd Western things at the end. Tokyo Disneyland's Haunted Mansion is more appropriately placed in Fantasyland and so doesn't have to incorporate any odd elements into it. Also the "ghost tech" in this version completely outdoes the Paris version @_@; Such a huge difference, wtf. We rode The Haunted Mansion four times. Our last go so completely perfect that we decided not to go on it again, even though we could have.
I tried taking pictures of the sign too and.... hm. Ghosts? :O!!!! xD;
Boy, I want that uniform T___T;
We moved on to Splash Mountain after that, and it had an interesting difference from the last time we visited the park... we got a lot wetter from riding it now @_@; Probably because it's summer? I guess they have a setting to flood the ride more during summer so that the ride can help cool down the guests. Not that it was needed today, since it's was raining and EXTREMELY windy... but yeah. Wow. So wet. OH AND FFFFF. The ride stopped right as we were getting to the big drop @______@ IT MADE IT EVEN SCARIER, AAAAAAAH. Sometimes they have to stop rides running on tracks/in lines (which is... almost all the rides at Disneyland), in order to prevent clogging at the loading and unloading zones. The Haunted Mansion ride tends to stop a lot. This is the first time I experienced that Splash Mountain stopped @_@; We stopped once for a little while at the bottom of the climb up to the big drop, and then again AT THE VERY TOP OF THE CLIMB... JUST BEFORE WE WERE ABOUT TO BE DROPPED. AAAAAAH @_________@ Too scary~~! xDDD;
We also rode It's A Small World, which I tried to film. I shot a video of the Christmas version last time we went, but... the camera was brand new then, and I ended up mostly filming the ceiling. Lol. xD; This is... a lot better 8] And perhaps best of all, no annoying Christmas song repeating throughout the ride xD

We rode Pirates of the Caribbean ♥ Aaaah, I really like the atmosphere on this ride. It's so dark and... creepy, in a way? I don't know... and yeah they've added in stuff from the recent Pirates films here. There are a couple of scarily life-like Jack Sparrow animatronics spread throughout the ride, they've placed Captain Barbossa on the ship in the cannon ball fight room, and there's a video projection of Davy Jones onto a water steam that the floats pass through into one of the rooms. Still, even with these changes the ride has kept its old atmosphere and charm, and the most iconic scenes are still kept intact.
We rode Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin which is such a crazy ride, omg. I was so surprised the first time we rode it, because I didn't expect such a wild ride to be placed in Toontown next to the park's baby center XDDD You get to take a ride with Benny the cab as he spins you around Toontown. He.. spins, and spins, and spins.... @_@; I get dizzy just thinking about it..... I should film that ride the next time we go xD;;;; Though I'm scared I'd drop my camera from all the violent jerks the ride gives you, haha.
Oh and yeah, while waiting in line... @_@ this ride probably has the most interesting queuing space of the rides in Disneyland. There are tons of stuff to look at... further entertainment was the extremely OCD girl standing in front of us in line @_@; She had to touch absolutely EVERY object she saw. And if there was any doors (lots of fake doors in the queue interior), she had to go up, try to turn the door knob, and then touch every single panel on the door. Aaaah xD;;;; Ffff
And then!!!! when we got out! I went to have to have my pictures taken around Toontown, and... then !!!!!
OCD GIRL RUNNING IN TO TOUCH THE BARS WHILE I WAS PREPARING TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED. XDDDDD Her mum ran after her, and guided her away. ololol xD;;; Such an interesting pair.
Oh and yeah, we tried something new too! We got on a raft, and went to explore Tom Sawyer Island~ There are no real attractions to get on there, it's a place of exploration and childish fun xD; .... though we only went there for the milkshakes. Or rather, Christian went there for the milkshakes. I would have liked one... no, I really, really wanted to get one, but I also didn't want to spend the rest of the day in pain and puking all over, so yeeeeah. Watching others enjoy awesomely delicious things ;_____; They had three different flavours; vanilla, choco-banana, and tropical fruits. I knew about the milkshake (Tom Sawyer Island is the only place in all of Disneyland where you can get milkshakes!) because of
this episode of Disney Time! xD;;;
Disney dorking ftw! Hahaha
We explored the island a little too~

Speaking of Disney dorking... did you know that the Standby Times shown at the entrances of each attraction (signs telling you "30 minutes waiting time from here") shouldn't be taken too seriously? Seriously, do not let long Standby Times discourage you from getting in line... it's my experience that the actual time you spend in line is half of what they claim it to be :o I don't know if they do this on purpose or what, but yeah. Almost always, without fail, shorter lines than advertised XD; Our longest wait this time was for Splash Mountain. I guess we stood in line for about an hour, but the Standby Time sign told us it would take 120 minutes. So... yeah.
We also paid The Enchanted Tiki Room a visit, which has been re-done to feature Stitch! His animatronic was so cool, whaaaa. And he is (if possible) even more adorable when talking in Japanese, ololol. I enjoyed it a lot. I liked it a lot better than the Get The Fever! show that ran last time we were there.
The Enchanted Tiki Room
Stitch's ship has crash-landed right outside the Tiki Room! Aha, so that's why he's there....
Oh and yeah, Stitch was the only character we actually saw around the park. I'm guessing the weather conditions prevented them from having too many characters out and about. The line to have your picture taken with Stitch was really short, but I didn't want to xD; My meeting with Goofy has scared me away from ever interacting with characters again xD;;;;
Because did I mention that the weather was bad? Lololol. Actually the weather changed a lot today. @_@; Weather forecast said it would rain a little, but then later it changed to say that it would rain a lot 8D ..... yeeeeah. We did get some sun in between everything, but we also had times like this

(my camera is waterproof, don't worry ;D )
So.... wet @_@; Every single parade got cancelled due to the weather, except for some dance event thing that we caught a short glimpse of. Hahaha. But wow, yeah. They even cancelled the Electrical Parade @_@; Tons of Disney wotas go to the park just to see the Electrical Parade. People camped for hours for good spots when we went to the park last time.... awwww.
I'm glad we didn't walk around relying on our umbrellas. Never seen so many broken umbrellas in one place before xD;;; On the other hand, if we'd decided to stick to our umbrellas we would have still had them xD;;;;; None of the coin lockers were large enough to store umbrellas in, so we just left them in the coin locker room :x .... they were gone when we went to see if they were still there when we left the park. Muuuuh. Ah well, at least they were cheap umbrellas xD;;;
We were planning to eat at The Polynesian Terrace Restaurant, but you have to order in advance through a website in order to eat there (........) so.... yeeees. Hahaha xD This left us completely clueless about where to go for food, so we noodled around the park looking at every menu we came across. Eventually went for cheap Japanese curry at Plaza Restaurant XD
Tasty~~~!
Here are some random left-over pictures... XD
UP! I still haven't seen that <,<;;;
A statue of The Mad Hatter, and amazingly awesome vending machines outside of The Queen of Hearts' Banquet Hall *o*
Captain EO, an old attraction from the 80's~90's, starring Michael Jackson, that has been brought back because of his death. I might give this a try if we visit the park again while we're here (we probably will XD). It's a 3D film, and it's directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Whuuuut. XD
Fantasyland ♥
Goodnight Disneyland~ We'll be back ^_^
