I've had a pretty wonderful Monday ♥ I actually went out and did stuff! I have this nasty habit of just staying in the apartment whenever Christian goes off to work, but I decided to try something new today.
I bought a pretty nice Moleskine planner (18 month, from July 2009 to December 2010), founds other bits and bobs I really want but decided not to get. Amongst other things a BBC book called The Lost World of Communism. Looked right up my alley, what with everything I learnt and was fascinated by in Berlin and such. Discovered there was a BBC documentary series to go with the book, so I watched the two first episodes of that when I got back home. Great series, though I wish they would have subtitled the interviews instead of dubbed them @_@; Still want the book, but I don't want to have to pay over 300kr for it <,<;;
I also finally found some silicone cake pans. I've been looking for some affordable ones for a while now. The cake pan we have is impossible to operate (the bottom can be taken out, and I'm never able to assemble it correctly, which leads to cake batter running away everywhere when I try to bake something T____T;). So yes. Two nice solid silicone cake pans for me, thank you very much. Broke one of them in by making a banana lime cake! 8D So yummy, omg~~~
Here's a (rather crappy, sorry) picture of it!
We've obviously started eating it here, so there are chunks missing... but you can sort of still tell that one of my new cake pans is heart shaped. Aww
