We've been on the road all day long. It was a fun trip, but I'm glad to have reached our destination. Spandau, Berlin. A little to the west of the city centre. We've booked a room at Hotel Kallmeyer, which ended up leaving us positively surprised. It looks like a really shabby place from the outside, but once you're in and realise that they've converted parts of a regular apartment building to be a hotel... well it is quite awesome. We certainly got more than I thought we were going to get. Chocolates on the pillows, our own balcony, free parking, free internet, and breakfast buffet! Which I'm really looking forward to trying out tomorrow morning. Heee.

We have some planning to do when it comes to how we'll spend tomorrow, but I'm hoping to see lots of sights and try lots of yummy food. Currywurst sounds... odd, but it needs to be tested too :P
We walked around Spandau for a bit. Saw Spandau Old Town - lovely old buildings!, and took a stroll past Zitadelle Spandau. There was a concert going on there at the moment, though (Blackmore's Night - lol) so we couldn't go in and take a look. Maybe we'll have time some other day? Durr, I doubt it. We'll see 8D
