Pictures Ahoy

Lulz, Satoru is on facebook, so he posted a couple of pictures from the karaoke we did. I'm just happy-happy he didn't post videos xD I know he filmed my failed attempt at doing ハレ晴レユカイ xD I know the song pretty well, but somehow it all becomes more difficult when you're faced with a screen with a bunch of indecipherable kanji and have to read/sing them faaaast~ 8DDD;

Anyway, pictures! Whoo~~

From left to right, Ayaka, Zin, Dan, Me, Satoru, Shige, and somehow I've never really heard that last girl's name xDD

.... yes.

Dan is not a student at Reitaku, but he is currently living in Japan. He was visiting Satoru, because Satoru lived with Dan when Satoru went to the US a year back or so :)

I was not actually singing when this picture was taken. Satoru told us to pose as if we were, I think I did a good job with that xD

I look really, really scary in that picture. Wtf. XD

Aaaanyway. On Sunday I finally met up with old classmates! ♥ We met at Hamamatsucho in Tokyo and we went to the Pokemon Center! Iiiiih! &hearts~ xD Childish joy.

On our way to the Pokemon Center. Aaah, we were so lucky with the weather! And look, look! Tokyo Tower! ♥

Jeanette and Ida taking pictures of Tokyo Tower 8D

World Trade Center Building!

I spy with my little eye, something yellow beginning with P!

8DDD

Kine in front of Pikachu (who we all agreed looked more like Pichu)

Me and Ida~~

Welcome to Pokemon heaven @_@; It was filled with toys and all kinds of merchandise. Also christmas decorations. Yes.

So many kids, though... @_@; You had to walk around really carefully. They're so tiny! XDD

Better picture of the entrance

Mhhhhm. Oh, did I mention that the Pokemon Center melody from the game was on repeat inside the store? 8DDD

On our way to get something to eat we walked past this car. Only in Japan. @_@!

Me and Guri separated from the rest of the group and went exploring~ whooo

So pretty~~

There was a huge shrine that we had to pass through in order to get to Tokyo Tower from where we were. I find it bizarre, but awesome that these sacred places of worship and tranquility are placed smack in the middle of town centers. It's the same in Kashiwa, and I guess everywhere... *shrug* I don't know, I guess I expected shrines to be out in the countryside or up in the mountains or something xD Apparently I was mistaken

Such a contrast from the busy/noisy life going on outside the shrine gates

Cemetery

Statue-thingies at the base of

TOKYO TOWER ♥ Unfortunately the line to go up was ridiculously long... so we didn't bother. At least we know where the tower is at now, so we can go back there on some day that isn't a holiday for everyone XD

Lulz. Had to take a picture of a map so that we could get to Roppongi 8D

Crazy building we encountered on our way @_@; I was tempted to run up the stairs and pretend like I was being sucked up by the building (it looks like a UFO, no? xD) buuut there were people around, so I figured it would be better to just.. act normal. I have no clue what the building is for. Concert hall maybe?

TV Tokyo! ♥ ♥

Raawr judo. XD

After walking around sort of failing to get to Roppongi (we got to the Roppongi itchome subway station), we decided to go to Shibuya. Shibuya~~~~

Purikura mekka! XD We didn't do purikura, though, but I'm definitely going back there 8D

J-reggae/ska, anyone? xD Also. GENKIDESUKA?

The Hello! Project section at Tower Records, Shibuya T___T; They had soooo much stuff. They even had the early singles box! D: Way too expensive, though xD Lulz.

View from Tower Records' elevator

Lulz, advert trucks 8D Blasting the music they are promoting at full volume~

Shibuya Disney store~~ Aaaah xD Cuteness. But the merchandise inside were stuff you could get other places so *shrug* I think I'll buy Disney merchandise when I eventually go to Disneyland.

Mac center *o*

... and in case you're wondering wether or not I bought anything at the Pokemon center... the answer is yes. Turtwig, I choose you! xD

This week is looking out to be very busy. Have to finish up and practice my presentation T_T; I'm not nervous about it, but I don't want to do it. I find the presentation bit silly. It's a sakubun, why do we have to memorize it by heart and present it in front of the class? Makes no sense. Aah~ Also have a huge grammar test on Thursday :(
