Wheee~

Whaa today was filled with crazy stuff.

Last night Zin came running up to my room saying "SOMEONE ON YOUR FLOOR IS GIVING AWAY A FRIDGE FOR FREE". So we ran to said person's room to see if we could get it. She wasn't in, but we talked to her neighbor and she'd notify the fridge owner that we were interested.

SO. I WAS WOKEN UP BY FRIDGE-GIRL AT 7:30AM THIS MORNING. AUGH! xD She knocked on my door, I was expecting it to be Zin (I thought she wanted to know if I heard anything about the fridge) instead I open my door to see a complete stranger xD; It was awkward. And then my Japanese failed horribly, but we got the fridge! Yaaaay. It's in Zin's room, because we're already using her kitchen when we cook so yay. Now we actually have a place to store all our food, since the shared fridges suck. Not enough space at all. Aaahha. Yay for leeching off of others <,<;; xD The Fridge-girl was too cute, though. She kept going "But... I was thinking of throwing it out, it kind of smells... are you sure you're okay with getting it???" XDDD;

I bought a coin purse yesterday. Say hello to Tako-kun! XDDD; I LOVE HIM. HE IS TOO ADORABLE. (I'm quite certain it's a he, it looks like a he, right?" xD

TAKO-KUN!

Tako-kun got commented on a lot in class today, and was used by my teacher to help illustrate some examples XD Awww~

After class, me and Zin went to Okkaasan, the cheap super-market. We went by the post office first and we were eaten alive by mosquitos inside the post office! Wtf! We both walked out with huge, swollen, itchy bites xDD

Oh~ The Norwegian students are scheduled to have an interview thingie all through next week o_O; It sounds scary. We'll sit down and talk to a bunch of teachers, I have NO idea why.. or what we're going to talk about. It's after class on Tuesday and Wednesday and then during lunch on Thursday (we'll be given food there). O_O; .....

Then the highlight of the day. Band contest! I've never been to a band contest before so I was excited about going and I'm so glad I went! :D They've been promoting it a lot these last couple of days, yet the theatre was nearly empty D: So sad! The bands were really good! I decided to take videos instead of pictures. Please excuse the crap quality o_o; I make the videos smaller after I transfer them to my computer, and uhm... then youtube/facebook cuts the quality so bah. It's the sound that's important here, though so yay. XD Not that the sound is all that good either, but it wasn't all that good at the theatre either, so not much I could do about it.

I'm sorry the video is so short~ They were really, really good. They did two songs, but since they were the first band I didn't know how much I should focus on each band so yeah. I regret not filming them more T_T; I voted 5 out of 5 for them (yesh, you got to vote on the bands! Awesomeness xD).

The sound was really bad during their performance. As you probably can tell. You can barely hear the vocals and the drums are way too loud in comparison to the other instruments. Boo to mr. soundman/crew on that one xD; I voted 3 out of 5.

AAAAH! The singer! She is awesome O_O; She moves around kind of awkwardly, but at least she moves to the music. The other bands didn't move around much at all. Cheer Gather seemed more comfortable on stage and they looked like they were having a good time. And the songs were so pretty and yay! I voted 5 out of 5, plus I taped the (near) full length of their second song~ Enjoy...!

Some of the guys from bakuga played in this band too xD;;; Uhm. I don't know what else to say. I voted 2 out of 5. The video cuts off awkwardly because I ran out of room on my memory card 8D

The contest continues tomorrow, presenting new bands! I'm looking forward to it! :D
