Bella stopped, finally happy with the distance she had put between her and the group of wolves and vampires that were her protectors. She could feel Victoria’s eyes on her and Bella shivered in anticipation. Every nerve was standing on edge as she waited for the red headed vampire to come to her, to descend down upon Bella and claim her.
So when Victoria suddenly appeared behind Bella, and wrapped a deceptively delicate hand around her fragile throat, only a moan escaped into the quiet forest air. Something hot coiled deep in the pit of her stomach and her pulse quickened in tandem with her breath.

Bella came forward willingly as Victoria pulled her in closer and welcomed the hand that snaked down below the waistline of her jeans.
