At Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's house tonight, Ivy saw Maw-Maw Esther's medicine on the table. She pointed to it and said, "Eh-Eh med-uh-ssssseh"
Also tonight, Sadie offered Maw-Maw Esther a piece of pretend cake. Then, for about the next five minutes, Ivy kept calling across the room, "Eh-Eh! Peesth caake?"
Ivy calls herself Zah-Zah. ("Zah-Zah paay ah-siiii" means, Ivy wants to play outside!) At this age, Sadie called herself Dayah. I have no idea where they came up with these.
Ivy often tells people they are silly... "Dada siiieee". She says this with vague amusement, but also slight condescension.
When I was shopping for some shirts to give Paw-Paw for his birthday, I held one up and asked Ivy, "Does this look like Paw-Paw?" Meaning, of course, "Does this look like something Paw-Paw would wear." Ivy laughed and said, "Nooooo! Shir!" Meaning, of course, "Mommy! Don't be ridiculous! That looks nothing like Paw-Paw... it is a shirt!"
