Jumping back in after the craziness of Part Eight, let's do this-_-
Twin Peaks: The Return - Part Eight
First scene: Evil Dale walking covered in blood, he somehow survived last episode.
And then we jump to Gordon and Tammy on a plane. I guess it's been a few weeks since I last saw these guys due to a break from watching.
Welcome back though, old friends.
We've also got Diane and Albert, heading to Buckhorn?
Evil Dale puts a hit on the Warden! After all he's done for him!
I'd almost forgotten about the attempted hit on Dougie, is Dougie going to be one of the targets in Vegas Evil Dale mentioned? (We're at Dougie's work now, with police investigating the latest attempt on his life).
Watching these poor cops trying to make sense out of this situation, bless their socks!
Oh dear, looks like Dougie's would-be assassin has been busted,
Back in Twin Peaks, it's been a while. Lucy looks stunning as usual. but seeing her and Andy looking at the same chair with different designs on the internet is amusing for some reason. I have a feeling Andy isn't going to get the chair he wants... Hah, of course he caves>_<
Aww Lucy, bless your heart, making Andy cave and then buying the chair he wanted, bless!!
Wow, Mrs Briggs, looks like she's barely aged since the original show! She has important info for Frank and Hawk! I'd still love to know how Bobby ended up in the police force after all his shenanigans. Also I love a good old fashioned hidden compartment.
Our FBI chums have made it to Buckhorn. Diane can't smoke. Diane can however receive a cryptic text from Evil Dale. Albert likes the pathologist, to be fair, she is a cutie.
Dougie's ring in the stomach of the body they're investigating, the plot thickens.
In the woods of Twin Peaks, Jerry Horne has smoked too much weed and/or taken too much acid... I'm not sure if I love or hate what they've done with him for this season.
Lucy is on her lunch break. Bobby opening the window that Waldo was shot through. Great scene with Bobby, Frank and Hawk opening the cylinder and getting into some classic Twin Peaks smoke and mirrors. Love these bits of the old Twin Peaks and how they tie into the current timeline.
Also love this scene with Gordon, Diane and Tammy, saying nothing. The awkwardness!
Hastings is such a crybaby but all of a sudden he gets interesting. He certainly knows Major Briggs. His stuff checks out!
Back at the Great Northern, Ben continues to investigate strange goings on in his office.
At the Roadhouse we have some electronic artist by the name of Hudson Mohawke (no introduction given). It's an odd fit for the Roadhouse. I'm not sure who these women are that are this scene is based around.
And in a very quick onstage turnaround, Au Revoir Simone are back (love me some Au Revoir Simone). This girl needs to stop scratching her axillary rash!
And credits roll as Au Revoir Simone play us out.
I loved this episode, so much cool shit going on.
Looking forward to Part Ten, probably jumping into that on Monday.
