Minneapolis shows why it's #1 in volunteerism. You know, I never thought I could be happy in the Midwest, but I really do like this town.

here. At this point it's just a plain vanilla account of our trip out to St. Paul, but it's long and I don't want to repost it here. I'm planning to update the Vox account regularly with our day-to-day stuff so absent family can read the censored version. *g* Anyway, if you're interested in that sort of thing, feel free to check back there every now and again. I'll do another update in a couple of days. There are also links to my online albums at Picasa in last night's entry, so there are updated pictures to be had, too.
I may have a buyer on the hook for my house, but it's kind of a bizarre situation, and I think they're trying to shake me down and play me against another seller; as a result, I'm not getting my hopes up.
