(no subject)
Well I bought my new laptop this morning and I'm writing this on it! I'm not too good at typing yet though, the keys are too close together!It seems to be working ok so far, apart from doesn't want to let me connect my camera...hmmm. Yesterday I went to my friend El's carribean party. I didn't really feel like going to be honest cos I still felt quite hungover and miserable, but I cheered up when I got there. Her and her boyfriend Danny had made loads of cocktails and stuff, and her mum cooked loads of nice food. Was yummy! The house is a bit too nice for a party though really, everyone was scared of breaking stuff and her mum hung around all the time (she's v houseproud) so wasn't the best party ever. I got home quite early, about 11 so I wasn't too tired this morning when we went laptop hunting.
We went to PC world in Chesterfield to start with, but then we had to go to Derby cos they didn't have the right one (not that I was really bothered but there were two models for the same price and apparently this one is loads better). It cost £350 which I got out of the building society yesterday from some money my Grandad left me.
I've been putting music on it all afternoon, using a USB pen so it took forever!Ugh.
I'mnow getting a bit worried about my Leeds festival ticket. It's next Thursday..I tried ringing the helpline thing but I jsut got put on hold and I got bored so gave up. It's so frustrating grrrrrrrrrr!
I have to go to work tonight.
