He'll do one of two things, he'll admit to everything; or he'll say he's just not the same

You know what I hate? When people act all shifty and odd about something normal and fine, and get their fiancée worked into a tizzy that something happened that gives reason to being shifty, and in fact, it was a shaving accident. Waisted energy and a down right pain it is.

Hexed like wicked OMG private I'm gonna kick your ass if you're not Lily and you open this )

Hello stranger. I'm fine, I promise! I've already got James fussing at me, don't you start as well! I don't know the sex yet, and I think I might wait to make picking out the names more fun.

So. What's he done this time?

Too late my darling! I like fussing, it's quite fun. Oh? You're amazing, I don't think I'd be able to wait if I were you. Although, teasing James must make it worth it.

He came home acting particularly odd, he was pale as a sheet and he---he refused a blatant offer of sex which made me very worried. He had this odd cut with a mark on his neck, and I went a little ballistic because it didn't look like just a cut with the way he acted, but I guess he was just out of it.

Oh fine, fuss away. It's not so much that I'm amazing as that I don't particularly care if it's a boy or a girl. Either way I'll be happy!

He refused sex? What kind of guy does that? Don't just shrug it off, Monty. Something is up with him. You should figure it out fast. As much as I don't like him it gives me belly rumblings when you two are having issues. I don't like it.

But the suspense would kill me is all. For that I know you to be amazing. Among other things.

I know---I just, I mean it's odd. No idea. But I think one has nothing to do with the other. Is that possible? I thought if I leave well enough alone about the cut then maybe I can get why he's so moody you know?

It would probably be more suspenseful if I wasn't the one going through it! It's all well and good for friends and family to be excited when they aren't getting sick every morning.

...you know, I've heard that people hiding things tend to get a bit moody. From the stress and all. Not that I'm implying that he's hiding something. I'm just saying.

Yes, probably. But happy and healthy is all we really care about! Aw you poor thing! Anything in particular set you off?

...you, you don't think, he's cheating on me? I couldn't bare it if he was Lily.

Aw, it's nice to be cared about. Nothing specifically, at least not that I can see. Weirdly eating lots of fruit seems to help.

I doubt it's that extreme. I really, really doubt it. He's utterly devoted to you, I know that much. But I still say he's hiding something, and it's probably nothing good.

Fruits, check. Sending you a large basket then. To be safe and all. Besides, it'll save James a trip for now.

You do? Yeah, I, I think you maybe right. I'll have to look into this then.

You know you don't have to do that, right? But thank you.

I just feel that you should know what he's up to. Privacy is all well and good, but this seems fishy. That's all. Be careful. After all, we wouldn't want you to scare him away!

I know that. But friends do things they don't have to do because they love their friends. Besides---you can now save the trip up for something really important. Like chocolate at 3 am!

Yes--I'm working on it as we speak actually. Yes, I suppose you're right. Hur hur! Thank you Lily.
