hello beautifuls!!!!
there's been so much going on and finally i can sit down! after the art show at school i pretty much didn't want to do anything. i did so much talking that day. it was one of my best days of my life; everything was colorful, so vivid, so cherishable-- a memory to be kept in the heart forever and ever.
all i ever thought was that i just wanted to show people; inspire them. if at least one person walked out of those doors wanting to paint after looking at my art, i would have accomplished my goal. but ... i didn't think people would want to buy it! i was so stunned. buy it? really? i nearly cried after an art teacher came up to me and asked to buy one of my paintings. i really, really didn't know what to say. i felt a part of my dream living through me...
anyway, after the art show, after so much talking and putting up and taking down the art show, i literally did not want to do anything. not even talking! i don't even remember what i did hahaha.
okay last thing! well a couple. i've been getting into vegan cooking for my mom. it's really quite interesting! and i'm so happy that there's so many alternatives for her. she thinks she's set out for a bland, hopeless diet of veggies and tofu and whatnot. and she hasn't been happy much. so i've been trying very hard to do little cheery things for her; leaving notes on her bed, encouraging her, making her vegan baked goods ... and now i've decided i'm going to learn vegan cooking! by the way, where do i find tempeh?!?!?!?! (if you guys even know what tempeh is ...because i didn't at first) i can't find it!!! aghh!!
lastly, getting to the point of this post, all art classes in school are doing artist trading cards. at first my class wasn't doing it, but now that we are, anna and i got so excited we started pumping out so many cards! so here is most of mine!!
-----------------------------------
is anyone interested in trading artist trading cards with me? :-D (you get something from me, and i get something from you!)
(learn more
here!!)
artist trading cards are 3.5-by-2.5-inch little pieces of art that you do ... and then you trade them with other people! in this case, we'll swap by mail. you can do anything you want. the possibilities are endless. but it has to be "you"! that's what it's all about anyway. :-)
on the back of an ATC, you must write your name, the title of the card, and your contact information (optional i'd say, at least leave your e-mail address!)
edit: if you're interested, send me a message! (comments are no longer screened)
