i still know the way, even if the north star may die

hello,

i was in nyc for several days and then i came back home for a day, which was the day i got pinkeye again. then i headed back out to nyc up until yesterday night! funny thing is i will be going out again to nyc tomorrow! but only for a day. :-)

i had much of an adventure visiting favorite places and discovering new ones... but there is so much to say and i wasn't able to take pictures because of some unfortunate reasons (such as leaving my camera on for several days without knowing and the batteries went out *cry* it still stings to think i did that!)

yesterday was my brother's pre-wedding photoshoot with his fiancee.
it was in central park, under the cherry blossoms! the air was warm and sweet and the sky was the most crystal blue. whenever the wind blew though... cherry blossom petals would fall off and fly everywhere... it was so riveting, and i was so captivated that i didn't hear anything as i looked, not even my heartbeat.

somehow the cherry blossom trees, all lined up neatly against each other, reminded me of warriors -- beautiful warriors that had just fought a war and won. it's strange, given where i was.

anyways, i didn't do as much as i wanted to, like making more journals or dreamcatchers or altering shirts or even bake! i only drew one thing (in the cut) :((((

(two pieces that are side by side in my big sketchbook,
which wasn't intentional at first... but i was reminded of
the wind when i looked at both together)

a necklace i got at forever21!! :-D
i haven't bought jewelry in a really long time, and i fell in love with this!

i felt a bit of anxiety and restlessness during my spring break...
and so i drew this to get some of it out

i went to FIT's Student Day a few days ago, and the Q&A session has finally relieved me of all of my inquiries and concerns.

FIT is the school for me. i know i will be happy there.
