Audrey Beardsley is one of my favourite masters in terms of ink graphical work. His lines are slender, his bodies are full and elegant. He makes masterful use of negative space.

Back when I made the domain, I wanted to have a banner that would tie with it. Twincow… Twin Cows… I had drawn different cows just to see if I could make it work. It didn’t, but I left the domain, and I want to show you one of my attempts.

Well, there’s very little geisha in this sketch, but I think it fits the overall rejected theme. Pushed off by an unruly lover, or simply tossed out by her house… I like my experiment of using non-white background colour, I think it turned out pretty atmospheric.
