GUESS WHAT. I narrowly escaped death this weekend. This, of course, is an exaggeration. So, you all may or may not remember that I moved to a new apartment in April! Oh man!! You're just like Donnie Darko and now there's an alternate universe and everything is going to exploooode. Not really, though. I'm glad you're okay!! But it's always kind of vindicating when one of those ridiculous things you're paranoid about late at night actually comes to pass. Vindicating and awful. I'm glad you're okay and it didn't fall on you!

And I think its cool that you're working on writing! I think the wordcount thing really works for some people but I think for others it's best to focus on just sitting down and writing and getting any words out.

If it didn't want me to survive the ceiling attack, it shouldn't have taken my cat away. ... so on second thought, shut up and deal, universe!)

Yeah, haha, I am definitely in the latter category, there. I can write for the word count for the first week or so (and usually do), but after that my inner editor and self-hatred creep back into the picture and I can no longer just produce mass wordage (at least not in the NaNo word document, I seem to suffer pretty heavily from running at the mouth everywhere else see: this comment).
